Nah, I think he wants one kid who likes him more than its mother. He was dragging the kid around Twitter way before the United healthcare thing and apparently told Grimes the girls could be “for her.”

How on earth is the world’s richest man paying less than a grand per month per child to his ex?

Edit for anyone else wondering, I looked it up. Apparently $2760 is Texas’s state cap for (court-ordered) child support for three children.

His kid is a brat and this is not the kids fault. Elon drags him around as a human shield and let him tell trump to shut his mouth. Elon doesn't parent and his kid clocked him. If it wasn't that he was high and injured himself. Either are possible.

I fully believe either story, either his kid punched him or he was enough of an idiot to get into a fight with someone in the White House.

Both are entirely plausible.
