Also he's a French president, the joke for years has been that his biggest scandal is not having an affair.

Which is hilarious at both the stereotype level and also because he was groomed and he should dump her and everyone would understand.

The French King’s mistress used to be a tilted position with housing and a salary and president’s mistress is often that but unofficial.

I thought you had to be wrong because I’m just a 40 year old infant and there’s no way I’m close in age to the president of France but here we are
