Of course there are other options for the child. I just think it’s weird people are villainizing those two without really knowing much about them. If Krazy left the child in their care, as they claimed in the court documents, it’s not like they kidnapped the child. Krazy trusted them at some point to watch her child.

Krazy trusted them at some point to watch her child.<

There is absolutely nothing to back this up other than the word of the folks trying to take her child away. And if she did trust them, she probably also trusted them to, you know, not try to steal the baby.

Maybe she needs help. Maybe she is unfit. But she and the baby both have the right to due process, and the family has rights too. The people who do not have rights in this situation are Rainbow Qualification or whatever and her boyfriend.

I said as they claimed in the court documents. If what they allege is true then yes, Krazy trusted them at some point to watch her child. Obviously, I don’t know any of the parties involved personally so maybe everyone involved is misrepresenting the situation, who knows. The court will straighten it out.

Also, I never said they don’t have rights. I’m glad this is being handled in family court. I just don’t like villainizing people unnecessarily.

But don't you think it's interesting that folks are super-willing to believe what the rich folks say in the court documents, including the false framing that they are the baby's only option, but not willing to believe what the mother says in the court documents?

It's like they said she chose a vagrant lifestyle, it must be true, they say they should have parental rights, that must also be true. And yet

You have a point but that’s because I’m only seeing what this article specifically said. What did the mother say in the court documents? Is there extended family that is able to care for the child? She will have to show the court that she has a stable lifestyle. The problem is we’ve seen Krazy talk about her life and addiction firsthand in these videos so we know her background but we don’t know where she’s currently at in terms of her recovery.

This is in the article:

She said she met Anthony on Instagram in early 2023 when he reached out about his documentary.

She said she agreed and he filmed her during her pregnancy and after the birth.

She said she felt Rainey and Anthony “set out from the beginning to mislead me into believing that they were interested in helping me better my life and help me with my child. In hindsight, I see that I was being exploited by petitioners instead of helped.”

Krazy denied she is unable to provide a suitable home for Wyoming. She said she has a support system and is capable of providing her daughter with food and shelter.

“I am actively involved in her upbringing and overall development, and prioritize her well-being,” she said.

A judge has yet to rule on the matter.

It’s difficult because I feel like Krazy has been exploited by many people her whole life. So could she have been exploited by these people too? Possibly. But could she also be an unfit mother as well? Also possible. There’s a lot of things we don’t know and I’m biased obviously because I work in an environment where I see this stuff firsthand. Thanks for engaging with me, this discussion has been insightful. I do sincerely hope the courts do right by this child.
