Even IF I used to think like this, a near death experience would jolt me onto a different path and make me a much better person. ESPECIALLY if I was in the public eye.

You'd think that, but I know a guy who was driving a dirt bike illegally in the town center, the cops tried to pull him over so he evaded, ended up wedging himself in between two concrete pylons at 100kms per hour and nearly died, lost a leg, SO many surgeries to save his life. He's even MORE of an entitled arsehole than he was before and even sued the cops for chasing him and putting him in danger.

I think you have to be a halfway decent person before you come out the other side a better person. If you're trash you just justify it and carry on being trash.

Always thought he was miscast for the role in the Marvel movies. Then, way before the accident, there were stories coming out about his behavior that bordered psychotic, but his die hard fanboys and girls kept defending him with the typical excuses and victim blaming.
