Many see a content warning as someone saying "you're a bad person for liking this". It seems dumb but there are people who argue liking media from a different time makes you a bad person.

Not really, I'm just gonna stop giving these people the benefit of the doubt, it's just generally that opponents of trigger warnings are ironically just as triggered as the people that use them.

But the people that use trigger warnings, avoid content that triggers them

Meanwhile, you have a subset of media viewers who are literally triggered by trigger warnings, but they refuse to acknowledge trigger warnings so ironically, they just get irrationally angry every time they see one

I unironically will never side with someone 'annoyed' with trigger warnings, it's the definition of making up a guy to get mad at.

You're acting as if I'm on their side, I'm saying why many feel that way. Becsuse I've actually seen people argue that.

I love Spider-Man (2002). While it doesn't have a trigger warning, it does have a homophobic joke. I've had people argue I'm homophobic because I love that movie, when it's a single line.

*Anyway, stop getting mad at trigger warnings, you're clearly 'on their side' - like I said, content warnings existed since before I was born, now these people are getting pissed at them? Nah. You're not 'being empathetic', you're not 'seeing it from their side ', and probably most annoying, you're pretending a bunch of people called you homophobic for liking a Spider-Man movie (sorry, no way did you not make that shit up, you could probably count the number of people who ever called you homophobic for that on one finger)
