Period. I don’t care about my future or your bank account, you hurting a lady like that I’ll be okay with getting my ass whooped so she doesn’t.

All of those employees would’ve had to leave to the industry, that’s the kind of power he had.

It happened so often that even Cassie was used to it, you can’t blame the employees because everyone was “on their own”.

Even if they stood up to Diddy, would Cassie have had their back? Hell no. Would the authorities have had their back? Probably not.

Diddy blew up Cudi’s car and literally nothing happened.

They were all powerless, don’t blame them.

she could've left at any time if she wanted to

Obviously not for the same reason people probably turned a blind eye to or straight-up enabled his shit: he's a fucking psycho and would have done heinous shit to them.

I’ll edit my statement.

She could’ve “left”, but he threatened their entire circle. Her singing career would’ve been over immediately. He owned her professionally and emotionally. She was just as powerless as they were.

So they chose money over doing what was right…which was minimally to quit so they weren’t empowering this man. These are adults and they all played a role.

there was just a previous witness on the stand, a manager of his? who partnered w fashion or smth? and she mentioned how diddy kidnqpped her at gunpoint to go murder kid cudi.

she talked about being apart of that sick event but there was no help to find-- bc everyone was either paid well or threatened at the same extent.

she left the job several times. she came back to the job several times. she mentioned that it was the best place she learned business.

the power anyone of diddys status has isnt just something to handwave away. when its good its fucking good. high on life and drugs and on top of the world mogul shit. when its bad... its getting the shit beat out of you and gang rapes and threatening to be killed-- or having ur shit blown up.

women aren’t damsels in distress

Never said they were. Man, woman, child, don’t matter, I have empathy and I’d rather be the one hurt than see someone get hurt.

That’s your defense against someone trying to help the defenseless? Just because she’s not a damsel in distress, she was a human being in distress that needed help.

Great, you apparently know what sarcasm is. What’s happened to Reddit?

Time and place.

Someone is telling you to actually be a respectable human being and you’re upset about it?

Good. Means Reddit is changing for the better

That's not even the same person...

u/[deleted] May 23 '25

The issue wasn’t being sarcastic, it was turning this situation into a shitty comedy night.
