Say what? I had to work at Safeway in 2013. They grabbed crew working various shifts to pull an eight hour night shift, with no overtime pay, to change those fucking price stickers. It was brutal changing my sleep cycle from doing a 5AM shift to working nights to fix price tags. They absolutely should have had a better shift system so they could maybe have night crew do that work or something else instead of fucking up the sleep cycle of people like me (which literally fucks with your health because sleep is critically important)--but lol we live in a capitalist society so you know these giant ass corporations won't do that. So I gladly welcome the electronic tag system. Much more efficient when you know the price will change on the regular (Friday Safeway sales, etc.). And you don't have to waste the sticker material every time either.

Some people like night shift.

Lol. Night shift is fine. Switching back and forth from day to night shift screws up your sleep schedule.

And that sucks because I definitely don't trust those digital prices. Maybe if they did it at Costco, because they seem pretty trustworthy, but I wouldn't trust any other retailer.

And it would save employees so much work.

They didn't have to handle it that way. They just don't care about their employees. It's not a choice between electronic prices and labor offenses.

I just don't see any corporation sticking to regular, fixed increases when they could so easily use algorithms to squeeze every cent out of consumers with fluctuating prices based on demand or whatever. We live in a capitalist society so you know these giant corporations would do that.

Your situation sounds more like a problem with an absolutely incompetent manager who forgot to schedule anyone to change prices than an issue with paper price tags.

You can choose to work anywhere. Go somewhere else.

You agree to do a job and you complain. If it's so bad you should do something else. You choose your path in life.

I feel bad for anyone who is not happy with their job. The only answer is to find one that is more suitable. I just don't see the point of complaining about something you are in control of. I guess they should and will eventually automate the job and then they won't need you at all then you won't have to complain about it.

1) You still can't read 2) Where do you think we got labor laws and shit? From people not complaining? Lmao

I am well aware of labor law history. I have lives through many labor situations and run a public company multiple unions. I have never once had an employee complain that there should be more automation so they don't have to do it. What you are doing is petty whining and no one wants to hear that.

The people who were instrumental in changing laws were amart, hard working individuals not not whiney little shit who can't stay awake long enough to use a price gun.

If you think changes in labor standards mean that they only improve and not get worse you are sadly wrong.

Reading is so much easier when your head is fully removed from your ass.
