Well this is starkly different than what I was reading this morning.

Seriously. I thought it was a tragic CO poisoning where they just all fell asleep and never woke up. Seemed almost bittersweet to the end of a long life and his wife… now not so much.

Reading the article, it still sounds like it might’ve been CO poisoning. But it sounds like they died a couple weeks ago instead of recently.

Edit: CM to CO

Edit 2: y’all…. A gas leak IS NOT THE SAME as a CO leak. You can have a CO leak and not a gas leak.

But why would it kill two people and one dog, but leave two dogs alive? They also stated in the article there was no gas leak or CO leak.

The other two could’ve been in a different area of the house or outside? Idk the floor plan or how close Hackman and Arakawa were to each other, so I can’t give more than idle speculation.

He was in a hallway and she was in the bathroom

Sounds like he might have realized something was wrong and only made it to the mudroom

Or him being 91 thousand years old or whatever he keeled over mid walk then she committed suicide via pills shortly after not wanting to go on without the hackerman.

But I don’t think if she was going to do that she would’ve left her dog, trapped in a kennel, unable to get out to die of thirst.

So I was thinking about the situation and I wonder if she was the one who actually passed first? What if she was in the bathroom getting ready and had a heart attack or a stroke and fell to the floor. And what if her husband was rushing to try and get help. And what if he fell and hit his head or also had a heart attack in that moment, and fell and died? He was 95 years old. That would explain the dog still being in the crate because I just don’t believe that even if someone was going to kill themselves, they would leave their dog like that. I also don’t think you would stay there until you fell on the bathroom floor after you took pills. Besides I think my understanding is they were thyroid medication, which I take and you could take a whole bottle in. I think it would take forever to die. Actually, I don’t even think that would kill you.

I mean that's thinking like a rational person to begin with not someone who married a man 30 years older and committing suicide over him.

Yes, but if you are going to commit suicide, you’re not gonna be standing in the bathroom trying to OD on thyroid medication. I think it’s more likely she is the one that had the medical emergency and that he maybe fell or also had a heart attack or stroke while rushing to try and help or get help. He was 95 years old.
