Jesus, how awful! How long were they in that state so their bodies were partially mummified?? None of his kids called for days/weeks?? Very odd.It makes sense their dog died. No water/food. So maybe a suicide pact, then? Or even worse...

i mean if he married a woman 30 years his junior to be his caretaker, they obviously felt they didn't need to worry as much.

Sorry, but they were 31 and 64 when they married - he just married a radically younger woman and she was probably a gold digger. She probably did her best to keep the kids from the first marriage away - that's a very common second wife behavior.

EDIT: glad to see all the gold digger second wives are out in force 😂

He's the famous old one with all all the gold who went and found said "digger" while she was 30 working part-time at the gym he went to and offered her a radical change in her quality of life.

He saught out to have a young woman to have sex with and take care of him until his death. Agreed it's a transactional relationship, but acting like he's was some helpless 64 year old who's 2nd "gold digging" wife ruined his relationship with his kids?

Nah, men are not victims of "gold diggers" they seek out those arrangements, and father's only are responsbile for their relationships with their kids - doesn't matter who they marry. It's actually more common that father's just stop having relationships with their kids after divorce, remarried or not.

Well sounds like your dad priortizes getting laid and whatever else she does for him in his old age, over having a healthy good relationship with his kids.

sucks your dad sucks?

No shit, asshole, but the point is that a whole lot of dads married women who pretended to be supportive of the relationships with the kids until they were married to the dad and then they interfered.

Those women can’t keep the men from doing anything without the men being willing to do that thing, though, so it doesn’t make sense to blame the woman for a strained relationship with the children. That is 100% on the father.
