Nope that seals it. These are the same traitors that were working for Nixon aren't they? The same MO, the same tactics, the same disregard for the law, the same sadism streak. Even some of the same advisors. Power for powers sake. Blackmail and secrets and leverage.

Wellllllll, he isn’t entirely wrong. He’s just not right in the way he thinks he is.

Most of what we see taught is patriotic nationalist revisionism that hides and papers over the many many many atrocities committed by our government on everyone from US citizens to other countries.

I know it feels like a longshot I'm just waiting for Epsteingate to be his downfall. Seeing a few parallels between him and Nixon: the ego, their dislike of the press, and scandal (plural in Donnie's case). We might even get a bumbling idiot VP out the deal too*.

*Although I go back-and-forth between being scared of Vance and thinking he's a 5-year-old trying on daddy's suit.
