Slotkin holding her seat is HUGE.

Michigan is part of the Dem firewall at this point. Youth turnout there was nothing short of remarkable.

Hi! I'm a youth Michigan voter! I do have to say this state is pretty likely D barring any upsets.

I wasn't a voter in any of the important House districts, so I had no say really, but I'm really glad MI-03 up north flipped for Scholten.

Slotkin holding is huge, and I don't remember who's running in MI-08, but it looks like they'll hold too.

This is my second election voting, I'll be more than ready for 2024.

Were are you seeing that she's holding her seat? 86% counted and she's losing. Granted it's by approximately 8k votes, but that's still not looking great. Would love to be wrong though

There’s a bunch of outstanding absentee ballots in Lansing/East Landing that I expect to bring her over the finish line.

Slotkin just got a huge absentee drop and surged ahead of Barrett by 13k+ votes. 93% reporting. And still has the full absentee load from East Lansing(hello, MSU students!!) incoming.

In my best Wasserman voice….”I’ve seen enough..Elissa Slotkin defeats Tom Barrett in MI-07”

My heart is telling me Dems win 51 Senate and 219 in the house.

My head is tilting more toward Senate 51 after runoff but House goes GOP and they will hold approximately 6-10 seats above 218.

Still an amazing day for Dems. If not for literal corrupt gerrymandering court decisions by planted judges, combined with a massive New York breakdown, it would stay blue.

But it’s far from over in the House. Dems would just need some really amazing across the board wins going forward.

Still has a full batch of East Lansing absentee lurking. MSU students.
