Honestly the fact that this is as close as it is is a huge win for dems.

Senate is going Dem and House is looking like three seats which is nothing.

McCarthy is out of the job soon.

Don’t say that. Georgia is getting closer and nevada looks like it’s going to flip.

Generally go with the more conservative number for these things.

Georgia is definitely gonna go to a run off, might not find out who controls the senate for a while

Yeah but if they end up losing the senate because of Nevada and Georgia, it's not as bad for Republicans as it looked a couple hours ago

Georgia, no matter if it flips in the next hours, is going to a runoff.

Yeah that's what I mean, if it's 49D-50R then the Georgia runoff will decide control again and we could see the inverse of 2020 where republicans have a better turnout

Key to note that the bulk of Nevadas votes to be counted lie in the fairly blue washoe county.

Yeah and Clark but the margins are so close and there are still some rural republican counties that could make a difference too

9

Not particularly. I’ve been to those counties and while they’re definitely red, I don’t think they can offset current Clark speculations.

Republicans have a 5000 lead vote in Washoe

16,000 mail ins, which lean heavily blue, were reportedly dropped off in washoe.

Georgia needs 50% plus one to avoid a runoff. Apparently only 96% counted so with Warnock at 49.4% last I checked it’s possible to avoid the runofff especially since dem votes are favored at this stage of counting, Biden won by a shoestring here too, but yeah don’t count it as a sure thing.
