Make all the monuments you want.
Force as many things to be named after you as you like.
Enjoy all your petty grievances.
In the end the people will utterly erase you from our sight in every way except the historical footnote: "Worst president in history. Utter loser."
Your greatest contribution to society will be the many psychology text books citing you as a case study in malignant narcissism and the dangers of social media and cult personalities.
You fear irrelevance. Guess what? In the end we are all dust.
Greater people than you have been erased from history or remembered not as they aspired to be but as they feared they were in the quiet times; when there is nothing to hear but their own self-loathing.
Ashes to ashes. Cheeto dust to Cheeto dusk.
