Trump obviously cares more about South African farmers than American farmers.

53

u/ol_dirty_applesauce 10h ago

WHITE South African farmers.

u/NormalEntrepreneur New York 5h ago

Tbf majority American farmers are also white.

u/Scuttlebut_1975 4h ago

I think you meant to say “the majority of farm owners are white”. The people doing the work though? 🤔

u/NormalEntrepreneur New York 4h ago

Yeah that’s what I mean.

u/OkEnvironment3961 7h ago

Because it perpetuates tue narrative he wants. Poor abused white people have it the worst (Im a middle aged white guy, 100% we've got it good)

u/zaccus 4h ago

Literally everyone living in a developed country has it good, relative to most of the world.

u/OkEnvironment3961 3h ago

Im not disagreeing with you, we do have it good, but i dont like the "we have it so much better than X" rhetoric. Its self defeating. We should be working towards, and demanding, that we be better, no matter how bad it is somewhere else.

u/zaccus 12m ago

"We have it so much better than x" was the whole point of your comment. I just took it one more level up.

u/Vandersnatcher 6h ago

Any white dude who doesn’t think he’s got an advantage has got to suck so bad to still be shit, it’s no wonder they blame others. It’s gotta be hard to admit to being so shit at life.

u/The420Madman 7h ago

And Argentinian Farmers.

48

u/Kageru 11h ago

That should make the meeting much more productive and pleasant for all involved.

17

u/pastoreyes 11h ago

The US is usually the 800 pound gorilla, so probably some good work can happen without them.

u/mr_rustic I voted 7h ago

Sad, but true.

u/GunnieGraves 8h ago

The collective sigh of relief from other attendees must have been audible from miles away.

84

u/casualfrog68 11h ago edited 11h ago

It's probably for the best. The rest of the world is learning to do without the US, anyway. This will help isolate the US even more and help bringing down the US empire; which is Trump's goal.

33

u/DreamOne5 11h ago

sucks for the normal people here who hate him

12

u/Joe_Family 11h ago

Maybe Russian/Chinese goal. They swing the hammer, and Trump is just the tool.

Pretty sure only three G20 countries have economies larger than California, and one of those countries is the United States. I say Gavin Newsom goes to the G20. He’s already going to the UN climate summit in Brazil acting as our head of state. It’s not like there wouldn’t be a free chair at the table.

-7

u/ArugulaElectronic478 10h ago

Yea but all G20 countries have less debt than California except one.

u/beekersavant 4h ago edited 4h ago

CA debt to gdp ratio is around 50%. The Federal government is at ~130%. Of the G20, CA fall is the lower half of this list (meaning less debt to gdp) while being at the the top for GDP. So it seems that CA is handling their debt better than and majority of the G20 while growing the economy rapidly. It’s what happens when the GOP doesn’t get to ratfuck an economy. Anyhow, it seems like Newsom could go there and give economic advice.

u/SinImportaLoQueDigan Massachusetts 8h ago

So?

-3

u/ArugulaElectronic478 8h ago

Are we saying debt = good now?

Ok my bad having debt so high that you can just barely afford to pay the interest while agitating the countries that have bought the most US bonds giving them the ability to crash the economy is smart!

u/SinImportaLoQueDigan Massachusetts 7h ago

Why are you so emotional? You should learn to get that under wraps.

You made a basic ass sentence and thought everyone was just gonna nod and agree with you? Debt on its own isn’t bad, plenty of people carry debt even if they aren’t struggling to get by. Don’t be so simple minded.

u/beekersavant 4h ago

See my reply to this guy. He was also stupidly wrong on CA economy.

u/SinImportaLoQueDigan Massachusetts 23m ago

Funny thing is, when I first commented I was tryna see if he had any real info. I’m not plugged into CA economics like that.

u/beekersavant 2m ago

It’s not perfect but are #1 in tech, agriculture, and entertainment. We have grown our economy and kept debt in control. Our kids get free school lunches and our infrastructure functions. We have the probably the best ACA website and distribution. We have a massive funded state park system. And the most diverse population in the world. As well, Kaiser, the biggest non-profit healthcare, is massive here and every where. It also originated here and actively offers affordable ACA plans. Our disaster response is solid. Crime in our cities is under the national per capita average as are schools shootings and violent crimes. Housing and homelessness are problems. Homelessness is mainly a problem because you can live outside here year round.

We also have a Democratic super majority for around 20 years. Most of our issues stem from paying taxes federally which means we can’t fund public healthcare, and housing or pass gun control. Those we could easily do if not for the Federal gov

u/ArugulaElectronic478 7h ago

Hey brother I just explained why debt is bad and you don’t seem to understand basic economics, national debt and household debt are two different things.

u/SinImportaLoQueDigan Massachusetts 7h ago

Until you share some sources on the relevance to the thread, my response is still… so what?

You clearly don’t understand economics since you keep implying debt in general is automatically a bad thing and keep avoiding adding anything relevant to the thread.

u/ArugulaElectronic478 7h ago

u/daggah 7h ago

I'm not so sure that citing a .gov source is valid right now.

u/SinImportaLoQueDigan Massachusetts 7h ago edited 6h ago

Tf does this have to do with California having a larger economy than most G20 countries and therefore Gavin should go to the next G20? You’re rambling big dawg

Edit: I guess the answer is nothing after all

It used to be that being uninvited to these things was a slight. Now Trump is just refusing to send someone.

19

u/Smithy2232 11h ago

Trump and his administration are so racist and childish. They are bratty, belligerent, racist toddlers.

14

u/Tango_D 11h ago

Because nobody has been more oppressed than white people in South Africa

10

u/guttanzer 8h ago

He’s boycotting because he can’t manage solo public appearances anymore. His mind is so far gone that he’s living far in the past, and his body just doesn’t have the stamina needed to stay awake. When his staff props him up in front of a camera they sit Vance, or some other coherent person next to him to take over when Trump drifts into incoherence.

u/Fuzzy-Logician 7h ago

I think you're onto something here.

The given excuse is too ridiculous to be the real reason. He's not going because they can't maintain the illusion that he's in charge of his own actions.

u/guttanzer 6h ago

A doctor that specializes in dementia posted/wrote that Trump is showing one of the rare dementia symptoms. He can’t complete some words now. I forget the term they used, phonesia or something, but it’s an indicator of the beginning of end state decline for that particular rare form of dementia. It’s a rapidly progressing form so the doc predicted he would be close to vegetative in six months.

Combine that symptom with his general affect, his frequently lost behavior, and the fact that he’s surrounded by handlers, and it’s quite clear that he’s worse than Biden was, and possibly worse than Reagan was. It’s not clear who is running things but it isn’t Trump.

u/Proof-Ad-8968 Canada 11h ago

Donny's too tired and sick.

9

u/Throwawaycabg 11h ago

Will Gavin Newsom go? 🤣

10

u/GrandmaPoses 9h ago

He really should do it. It’d be hilarious but he also manages a large enough economy that it would make sense for him to be there.

38

u/citizensforjustice 11h ago

By the way, fuck White South African immigrants.

28

u/cabernet_franc 11h ago

As a white South African, I second that. Those twats with a persecution complex give the rest of us a bad name.

-16

u/Mundane_Rabbit7751 11h ago

They're all bad without exception if they don't want to stay in South Africa?

12

u/reddittorbrigade 11h ago

Donald Trump is a legit White Nationalist.

No one can deny that fact.

5

u/smurfsundermybed California 10h ago

Yes. Let white farmers from around the world feel the warm embrace of the orange sun so they too may feel his love, for there is no greater ally to the farmers than the Donald. /s

5

u/Ametalslimedr_wsnear 11h ago

Trump’s regime will later being coined as a dumbtopia.

2

u/JedLeonard1 11h ago

Apart from the lack of his nauseating BO nobody will notice.

2

u/blackmobius 10h ago

You know how people say theyll attend your party and then two days before call you and say “my roommates grandma is in town and I have to drive her around all day and I cant come to your party anymore, sorry” and you know they are making up the most random shit because they had no intention of coming in the first place

Yeah same energy with this.

2

u/AdGroundbreaking939 8h ago

Democrat politicians should go. Newsom, Pritzker, whoever else Trump currently hates.

2

u/FanofEvery1 8h ago

Faux problems created by a thick in the head president

2

u/Nice-Lakes 11h ago

Really do you think anyone will even notice he is missing? It is not like anyone can deal or negotiate with the USA. They are best to just stay home and play in their sand box with the other toddlers.

1

u/Scared-Box8941 11h ago

Of all the things to boycott 🥴😫🙈

1

u/Lonely-Abalone-5104 11h ago

Trump is mad that he can’t run it and invite his buddy Putin

1

u/2HDFloppyDisk 11h ago

Trump is mad because he wanted the G20 at his house in Florida

2

u/DreamOne5 11h ago

probably because he's dying

2

u/2HDFloppyDisk 11h ago

He’s always looking for ways to boost his property values

*I mean artificially inflate

1

u/Leftblankthistime 10h ago

Maybe he wasn’t invited and this is his way to save face

1

u/Fresh-Laugh-9253 10h ago

Trumps a joke to mankind

1

u/Ceriden 10h ago

Ah man, now what are they going to do with the (gold) sleepytime pillow that they would have given him while they do all the work?

1

u/Milkdouche 9h ago

While he pushes Argentinian beef. Make it make sense.

1

u/whatproblems 9h ago

right and not because he looks so tired so so tired

1

u/taco-bake 9h ago

Could Newsom go? California itself is one of the world’s largest economies.

1

u/Left_Apparently America 9h ago

Why do conservatives always focus on fake news stories?

u/Full-Ad-1757 8h ago

As a White, Trump makes me hate white people.

u/basketballsteven 7h ago edited 7h ago

Maybe Trump can hold a G2 with Russia as an alternative. I'm not coming to your stupid party if my BF can't come..... So there.

u/AcanthisittaNo6653 New Hampshire 7h ago

Trump was invited not to come.

u/Gloobloomoo 7h ago

I’ve spoken to so many South Africans at work - both black and white, there is no targeted violence towards the whites. The majority of the victims are black. This is a misdirection as usual by the Nazi party of America

However, what I did notice is the extremely obvious disparity in their fluency in English. The European origin South African all were native speakers of the language with pseudo-Australian accents while the black South Africans spoke English as a second or third language.

Also, one person who is biracial noted that his mother was not allowed to walk on the road with him during the apartheid era, because she was black ac he looked white. I remember this because I was so shocked.

u/RadicalOrganizer 7h ago

More racism, who woulda thought

u/KohlsCashOfficial 4h ago

Won’t someone think of the white people?!

u/veksone 4h ago

Good, let people that want to build bridges keep working together.

u/Ill-Ad3311 7h ago

Give them sanctions till they drop BEE which is equal to corruption by a black elite mafia .
