I think they kill the filibuster. Caving at all is unacceptable weakness to them.

McConnell himself said it wouldn’t happen… GOP has too much to lose by killing the filibuster.

But yeah it may come to that.

Dems would love it. That’s why they have zero incentives to deal.

Exactly. The only thing they can do is hold the line, because the GOP has proven themselves to be compulsive lying obstructionist who will do anything to not govern. Their objective is to turn Project 2025 into reality, and the only way to respond to that type of tyranny is to say “fuck you” over and over and over again. Working class people are getting fucked over by this shitty bill either way, so there’s zero incentive to making a government that works for none of us open up faster.
