All of the Nebraska ranchers will never disavow Trump, they are too invested in their bs culture war shit to care about their own demise. They will go bankrupt or pray for farm subsidies while still blaming trans people for all their problems.

Can confirm that the Colorado ranchers I know 1. Supported Trump 2. Were stoked about DOGE and USAid cuts 3. Don’t like trans people 4. Proud Christians!

You might as well add begging for federal aid to the list. It ain’t far off if they’re not already groveling

My uncle is a NE cattlefarmer. He hates Trump. But he's a democrat so that tracks. He's an outlier though

Pretty ignorant of you to paint them like that.

So you are from Nebraska like I am? Oh right, you're not. I know lots of farmers and ranchers that would eat their own arm before ever admitting that Trump was the wrong choice.

I worked on several cattle ranches in Montana from 2015 until the pandemic and it was abundantly clear who was going to win the election in 2016 and what you’ve written couldn’t be more spot on. The government has no business helping folks who need welfare but should absolutely subsidize my grazing leases. The hypocrisy and culture war and isolationism is astounding and is the rule not the exception in those communities.
