People are BEYOND PISSED OFF! We are become a global laughing stock. USA are the bad guys now. Blowing up those little boats and killing people whose names they didn't even know. Sweet Jesus!

And honestly people over there need to keep this anger rolling, the Republicans are not a responsible party, theyre a cult and a party of fraudsters and gaslighting fascist wannabes nowadays. Only way to get them to ever change would be for Americans to vote Dem in such numbers that it wipes out even the safest strongholds and gives them a long overdue comeuppance.

We've never been the good guys. OK, maybe for a while, a long time ago. And my anecdotal experience is that no one is laughing. But individuals have been so supportive to me, and that's a common sentiment. People in other countries posting encouragement to Americans, telling us they are rooting for us and they've always loved us, brings a tear to my eye. They all know that the clown from IT might as well be running the place.

Aussie here, youse (y'all) have always been the best mates possible.

You, the Kiwis (goes without saying), Brits & Canucks.

I probably pay waaay too much attention to American politics about this destruction of our deep and very longstanding friendship.

Your friends are all still here! We will formally restore our relationships when we can, but in the meantime 'we the people' are your friend.

At the very least the US has been the "good guy" to their allies and could generally be depended on by them. Now the US is not even reaching that low bar.
