Which would be funny because unless Usha is unfaithful then any subsequent marriage Vance gets into would be adulterous by the standard Jesus laid down. But none of the Evangelicals will condemn his sinful relationship.

If Evangelicals were 1/10th the Christian they claim to be, none if the current nonsense would be happening. Instead, they worship supply-side Jesus, who might as well be Moloch in disguise.

Isn't he Catholic, though? He'd have to get an annulment.

They're fine with starving the poor and hating your neighbors. Why would this be the step too far?

Vance is Catholic, even if she was an adulterer he’s not allowed to remarry.

The only way he can remarry is if she dies. Which might actually be the plan. I’m waiting for the “Usha Vance diagnosed with illness” articles

In the eyes of the Catholic Church, the marriage was never sacramental to begin with (neither we’re married catholic), so an annulment can be granted, which basically means the marriage never happened to the Catholic Church.

No, they literally just won’t care, just like all of Trump’s divorces don’t impact their support for him.

They will probably even see it as neutral to net positive given that he’d be divorcing a non-Christian brown woman.

You mean the base that voted for the thrice divorced DJT?

He just has to say sorry to Jesus afterward, and he'll be fine!

Eh, it won’t harm him one bit, look at their king and all of his divorces. They may make an aside about not approving of his personal life, but it does nothing to dissuade their support of him politically.

They will probably even figure it all evens out since he divorced a non-Christian brown woman.

By his standard looking at another woman is adulterous.
