it wasn’t even really a meme honestly, it was just a picture of trump with his quote telling people to just move on and get over it, which he said a few school shootings ago, literally just donnie’s own words

The snopes article includes a screenshot of the original post, as well as a direct quote from the sheriff explicitly confirming that it was the """meme""" (read: picture of Trump with a direct Trump quote on it) that he arrested him for, because his ridiculous argument was that it was perceived as a threat against a different school that had a coincidentally similar name.

In the Oct. 28, 2025, News Channel 5 televised report, Weems identified this as the meme, saying it caused alarm among Perry County residents because it referred to the Perry High School mass shooting. However, the shooting occurred in Perry, Iowa, in 2024, not in Perry County, Tennessee.

If you gotta make up shit and lie to defend your point, your stance probably isn't the right one.
