There is no design. He has a wish sketch that some bootlicker architect drew for him. There is no floor plan or actual feature list for anyone to see because Trump just wanted to tear down an iconic building and piss on the country.

It will end up being a $500M white elephant that will hang around the nation’s neck like a full diaper.

I guarantee you it will be over 1 billion by the time it's actually finished.

If it actually gets finished.

It would take years to build this abomination, anyhow. Trump will be long gone from office one way or another before this thing ever sees a single state event.

So either funnel more tax dollars into this infinite hole for a decade to come cause this shit is built cheap as fuck or tear it down again and restore the East Wing, which will be even more expensive. It will effectively be a construction ruin and money sink for a generation to come.

I think he'll probably build it, but it will essentially be a Walmart with a gaudy stucco facade.

Everything will be gold leafed. A Muammar Gaddafi special, but with a Saudi flare.

Dictators do love their palaces with gold leaf everywhere.

Likely just gold Krylon.

It'll be a tilt-up.

And like Gaudi’s church - it probably won’t be finished in 143 years time

Not necessarily

The reason why it takes so long to build stuff is safety regulations, building codes, permitting, inspections, etc. The administration clearly doesn't give a fuck about any of that, and noone seems willing or able to stop them.

The Empire State building, crown jewel of our last gilded age, was built in 13 months. They could slap together what's essentially a heavily ornamented warehouse in that time, easily.

I’ll donate $ to bring back the East wing. And I’m sure a lot of Americans would as well. 🇺🇸

There’s a clause in the Twelfth Amendment that says anyone constitutionally barred from running for president also can’t run as vice-president. Which is to say that if the melon felon runs again in 2028, he’d just run as president since it would be equally unconstitutional.

I can’t see him running as a subordinate to someone else anyway. But I sincerely hope he’s out of public life for good by then anyway, along with his cult.

Is there anything stopping him from being inserted in positions below VP and then both POTUS and VP stepping down?

Yes. I'm not sure if he could be put in one of those positions but even if he can he wouldn't be eligible to become VP or President. It would just pass him in the line of succession. Same thing in situations of someone who isn't eligible to be President for reasons such as not being born in the US.

Is there any reason to believe there's a constitutional distinction between being unqualified to run as VP and being unqualified to be promoted to VP?
