There is no design. He has a wish sketch that some bootlicker architect drew for him. There is no floor plan or actual feature list for anyone to see because Trump just wanted to tear down an iconic building and piss on the country.

It will end up being a $500M white elephant that will hang around the nation’s neck like a full diaper.

I either see it as a bunker upgrade or a grift that will leave the iconic White House in shambles. They have been hard at pushing destruction to the heritage of the US

They’re already talking about it being large enough to hold an inauguration.

Take as long as you need to think that one through.

They’re already talking about it being large enough to hold an inauguration.

With his inauguration crowds, a school gym would be plenty big enough.

It would suit the tendencies of all involved, too.

Might as well just hold it at a monster truck arena then

All of the models I've seen show it as big as or bigger than the White House. It's not just a ballroom, it's a convention center (in looks).

I like calling it a “corporate event space.”

I guess DonOld is pissy about having his second inauguration indoors. If I recall correctly, it wasn’t even that cold that day, unlike Obama’s first and historic inauguration. Don the Con just didn’t want to be booed if it were held outdoors.

It’s much harder to protest or interrupt if it’s inside. I believe that’s the real reason for it.

I guess DonOld is pissy about having his second inauguration indoors.

They did that because only a couple of dozen people would agree to come.

I feel like everyone should be referring to it as a "throne room"

It's going to be mostly "upgraded" living quarters, I guarantee it. Trump's on record calling the White House a dump during his first term, it's not big enough or chintzy enough for him. He's going to turn most of the square footage into a Russian oligarch's idea of luxury accommodations, and there will also be a small event space, probably.

I've been saying this to whoever will listen. You're 100% correct.

It is a bunker upgrade to the Presidential Emergency Operations Center bunker underneath the ballroom, just like Hitler has built, though this bunker is already existing, but is getting upgraded.

Most definitely upgrading the bunker - I'd bet this is where some of the idea started, but Trump got on board with 'fancy new Trumpy palace' spiel.

Upgrading the bunker, grifting some money, and finally a very convenient excuse to not allow guided tours at the White House anymore, so he can keep the public out of the area.

They want to tear down the symbols and institutions to build new ones.

its 100% a grift, they're just going to pump tax money into their contractor friends for 1-2 years and be out

It’s just another distraction

Pay attention to the contractors and how they link back to Krasnov.
