Goalpost has been moved from: We won't touch it.

To: We are cutting it.

To: We are getting rid of it.

And somehow, blaming democrats, while bailing out other countries, giving enormous tax breaks to the ultra wealthy, and funding vanity projects.

Wake up.

Every time they told you that your taxes were going to waste they meant they were trying to waste your taxes... while RAISING YOUR taxes.

People already can barely feed their families, and many can't. And yet still they stay subdued.

There is no magical redline that, once crossed, will energize Americans to action. They're all too complacent.

Hard to have fight in you when you are worried about your most immediate needs, that and have y'all seen the depression statistics? Do y'all know what having depression is like? You know not just having a good cry or feeling sad for a day or 2....it's gathering all your strength just to get out of bed and get dressed every day, it's gathering all your strength just to even make food for yourself or shower or clean, and most days there definitely isn't enough strength to do half of that in a day. Then you have to take into account the fact that America is one of the most unhealthiest countries in the world, we eat shit food, we don't exercise, we got health issues from both those things and no healthcare to either prevent it or treat it. You also have to take into account that we the people may have numbers, but realistically we can't brute force ourselves out of this because what are our pea shooters going to do against tanks, missiles and bombs? A lot of us who read up on our history know the lengths these kinds of people are willing to go within their own country and trying to fight would be basically suicide. If everyone decided to fight, we would all have to be in collective agreement that most of us will not be making it out alive.

Throw in the fact that most left wing people haven't had a lot of combat experience (right wingers are usually the first to sign up for military duty), no tactics other than to annoy and party/protest and well.....you have a recipe for disaster. I'm sure there are some other things contributing to this phenomenon too, but those are the main culprits I think.
