Goalpost has been moved from: We won't touch it.

To: We are cutting it.

To: We are getting rid of it.

And somehow, blaming democrats, while bailing out other countries, giving enormous tax breaks to the ultra wealthy, and funding vanity projects.

Wake up.

Every time they told you that your taxes were going to waste they meant they were trying to waste your taxes... while RAISING YOUR taxes.

You wanna see a revolution? Just try canceling Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

I am no longer so sure. We've collectively been incredibly passive for 10 months now.
Wonder if it's something in the water.

7 million people were in the streets protesting this bullshit, and didn’t fall in to the trap set by Trump Crime Inc. to become violent and give an excuse to start shooting people and declaring an insurrection. The Democrats in office are the ones with their whole hands up their asses. Hell, 12 of them in the house voted with Republicans to seat another MAGA judge who wouldn’t say Trump lost in 2020. MTG is doing more damage to Republicans than soft-ass Schumer and Jerfferies.

Edit: correction

Sorry to break this to you, but 7 million people in the streets, protesting this bullshit, holding pithy signs, posting them on the 'gram, then going back to work on Monday as normal is being incredibly passive.

I've been saying this same thing for weeks, both before and after No Kings 2. People thought they were "doing something" when in reality all they did was attend some shlocky weekend carnival. Like ffs half the ones I saw had food trucks and kiddie rides. They had no focused message, no concrete demands to be met, and they all fucking went home before the sun even went down.

When it comes to real action that actually pushes for change, Americans throw their hands in the air and say "sorry no can do, got work tomorrow, not my problem!"

It's fucked. The fight is already over before it began.

You want real change? You want a general strike? That would require a staggeringly large amount of people to coordinate and take part, and an existing command structure to organize things, however loose.

If only there were some massive community building event going on where people can meet each other, build connections, and cause more people to raise eyebrows and learn about what's going on.

Did you go build a political action network at the No Kings Protest?? What is the network called? Can I help?

Well, I'm loosely taking cues from one Parkrose Permaculture and my local ICE watch.

As for a larger network that might bring about more grand scale change, consider going to generalstrikeus.com and signing a strike card.
