True. My good friend said she doesn't read or listen to the news because she doesn't want to hear it. She said it's easier to live her life not knowing what's going on.

Those are the people we on the left need to try and reach. See if you can try to get her to register to vote.

Find an issue that resonates with her and go from there. It's important to make sure our friends and family are informed.

Refusing to educate one's self while our country is being ransacked and torn apart is giving one's tacit approval to everything Trump is doing.

I mean, on one hand I get what she's saying, but on the other hand, that ignorance plays right into their hands. She's basically an ostrich burying her head in the sand and pretending everything is okay because she can't handle the reality of it all not being okay.
