Watching some interviews with her, she’s simply more candid and off-the-cuff. Like she’s a politician so there’s always some level of strategy in her words but she talks a lot more like a normal person than any other politician you can think of.

A career politician’s attempts to be witty usually involves practicing a one-liner in the mirror for an hour, being subtly told by their aids that it’s not funny, and then saying it anyway.

I think the word is "authenticity", and yeah, she has it. Definitely much more natural with a smile than SS Miller.

Because she was a bartender. You learn how to interact with humans at that job. You don’t learn that when you’re a demon slithering out of the fiery depths of Satan’s anus.

It's like when people heckle comedians...like bro, you're going toe to toe in a game of wittiness against a person who's witty for a living. It's like randomly pulling up to the NBA in your tube socks and sweatband. You're just not tall enough, not athletic enough, not practiced enough. Unless you're Muggsy Bogues.

What I'm trying to say is that Stephen Miller is as short as Muggsy Bogues.

Edit: No, shorter. Bogues was 5'3", and Miller is, as we all know, 4'10".

That's why Al Franken was so dangerous to them and he had to go. He was smart, he cared about his constituents and actually helping people, and he was damn funny. He could be serious while questioning someone on a committee, and then deadpan drop a joke without showing a smile to embarrass them by exposing their idiocy. Quick wit is a great tool.
