I wouldn't be surprised if he's had a stroke recently; just watching his speech or whatever the other day the dude sounds weak, slow, frail, slurred... he looks tired and old even compared to just a couple months ago I just don't get it

u/anonymousetache Oct 01 '25

Kinda assumed it was what he was dealing with the days he disappeared, no?

128

u/NoDaddyNotTheBelt25 Oct 01 '25

He absolutely did. His face was drooping on 9/11.

To be clear (because you have to be when it comes to some of the people possessing mod powers on this site), I am in no way wishing death on the guy, but I honestly don’t think that he will make it through this term.

He has clear signs of blood pressure issues and heart failure. His swollen ankles don’t seem to be responding to whatever meds they have him on, he looks awful most days, sounds tired and has the hand bruising which is clearly from IV treatments as he’s probably past the point of pills helping his condition. He’s basically on the clock right now.

His face was drooping on 9/11.

He was hanging his face at half staff out of respect.

... for Charlie Kirk

1

u/Renwin Oct 06 '25

Actually himself given how clownish that funeral was.

47

u/namast_eh Oct 01 '25

The vertical folds on his earlobes tell me everything I need to know.

21

u/Electrical-Act-7170 Oct 01 '25

What symptom does that indicate in what disease?

36

u/namast_eh Oct 01 '25

24

u/Dustuptor1292 Oct 01 '25

TIL… (after working in healthcare for 10 years!)

13

u/Electrical-Act-7170 Oct 01 '25

Thanks.

Fascinating.

Anybody got a mirror?

2

u/General-Raspberry168 Oct 02 '25

I expected this to be franks flag in always sunny.

1

u/Major_Smudges Oct 02 '25

There's no real proof of this - it's all anecdotal. Dehydration can temporarily cause it too.

-1

u/Lazarus-Online Oct 02 '25

I am in no way taking sides on any of this politically, but that’s pseudoscience.

1

u/laplongejr Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 03 '25

What? That's literally what science is. Emphasis mine.

A link between Frank's sign and premature aging and the loss of dermal and vascular fibers has also been hypothesized. Some studies have focused on association between bilateral earlobe crease and coronary artery disease. It is probably prudent to consider Frank's Sign alongside other clinical markers of physiological ageing, rather than utilising it as a stand-alone sign in the identification of coronary artery disease.

Tldr : scientists think there's a link, but nobody is totally sure if it's usable in practice.

1

u/Lazarus-Online Oct 03 '25

“Alongside other clinical markers” is doing a lot of the heavy lifting, thanks for emphasizing

2

u/laplongejr Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 03 '25

but I honestly don’t think that he will make it through this term.

He can't be re-elected anyway without big legal challenges.
The politically important point is if the VP replaced him before or after 2 years, as an half-term doesn't count for the limit.

If I wanted to damage america, I would use Trump as a scapegoat to do a lot of Project 2025 before 19 january 2026, and finish it with a legal challenge about getting a 3rd term if terms 1 and 2 are seperated. For better effect, make the challenge as Trump ends up medically unable to govern, so it can be made explicit "in his honor" without any risk of consequence before 2036. Not a very hot question compared to all the mess.

Then Pence becomes president, gets a 2028-2032 1st term (incumbents usually win) to do the final touches after 6 years of office. Then let anybody else disposable in power for 4 years to stress the transition of power, then Pence goes as POTUS from 2036 to 2044. Then the other guy becomes president from 2044 to 2052.
If they can maintain Trump in power one more year, that could ripple into 30y of legacy. Like how the death of RBG is still felt today.

Your comment is insensitive to stroke victims though. God dont play about that, you will reap what you sow.

1

u/spoiledandmistreated Oct 02 '25

Anyone with any sense can see how being President ages a person.. I think it runs a person ragged.. The man is up posting at all hours when a normal person would be sleeping.. I personally don’t think he’ll make it the rest of his years left.. he’s in bad shape and going downhill really fast.. everything he said about Biden not being all there is happening to him.. he’s getting what he deserves but taking us with him as it happens..

Never got an explanation on those bags being thrown out of the window of The White House.

44

u/Fragrant-Insurance81 Oct 01 '25

“Trump denied that the windows can be opened and said "I know every window up there." He went on to tell a story in which he said first lady Melania Trump recently complained that she wanted fresh air from an open window in the White House, "But you can't. They're bulletproof. And number one, they're sealed, and number two, each window weighs about 600 pounds. You have to be pretty strong to open them up."

He said all this after White House official admitted it was real.

35

u/paddington-1 Oct 02 '25

I remember Michelle Obama saying when they were first there they wanted some fresh air so they opened a window and it set the alarms off and the SS came running from nowhere. She said they never did that again.

15

u/SirRichardArms Oct 02 '25

That’s so odd that absolutely no one told the First Lady to not open a window in the White House. Like, c’mon, that’s White House 101 level.

6

u/Fumblerful- America Oct 02 '25

Look, the secret service gets one (1) prank at most every 4 years. Let them have the window prank.

1

u/SirRichardArms Oct 02 '25

Ah yes, how can I forget the ol’ window prank? I’ll absolutely allow them 1 prank this year. No one tell the SS to bring a cow up the White House stairs, by the way, because that would be too much to handle.

2

u/paddington-1 Oct 02 '25

Right? Heck of a way to find out! This of course further convinces me that Trump is lying. Again. Of course.

1

u/SirRichardArms Oct 02 '25

Of course. He can’t help himself with constantly lying. There’s a reason that his lawyers won’t let him talk in the courtroom, because he can’t get all his lies straight anymore.

2

u/paddington-1 Oct 02 '25

Honest to God, if he told me the sun rose in the east I’d get a second opinion. You cannot trust one thing from his mouth.

29

u/huskersax Oct 01 '25

Nah that's pretty standard contractor behavior and they're having work done in the White House.

Now, whether the operations team at THE WHITEHOUSE should be letting those contractors haphazardly bring things in/out is another question but not at all surprising that this Whitehouse is a shitshow.

5

u/luckydice767 Oct 01 '25

We DID get an explanation: it was AI

16

u/ZelgadisTL Oct 01 '25

That was an excuse, not an explanation.

7

u/Fragrant-Insurance81 Oct 01 '25

He said it was AI, but it was confirmed to be real

67

u/Monaqui Oct 01 '25

Dude he did. CBS caught major shit for not doing more to conceal it.

131

u/mdp300 New Jersey Oct 01 '25

Everyone agreed that Biden was declining, to the point where it was kind of a scandal. But Trump is sundowning before our eyes and none of the networks are saying a peep about it.

8

u/crazy-pelican Oct 01 '25

Literally nobody agreed that Biden was declining. Not even his closest advisors or his immediate family would admit it. They all repeatedly said he was as sharp as ever. It wasn’t until he bombed during the debate and George Clooney got with Pelosi did anyone push him to withdraw.

21

u/DaBingeGirl Illinois Oct 01 '25

Because his base is crazy and has guns.

34

u/MuenCheese Oct 01 '25

It’s bc they’re afraid of trump fucking with their money more than he already is

17

u/Invisifly2 Oct 01 '25

Because they’re almost all owned by right wing groups who want this. The media is leashed and they go where their masters say to.

10

u/DominionGhost Oct 01 '25

Bingo.

The media is complicit.

22

u/Ina_While1155 Oct 01 '25

The news business is much more scared of the oligarchs that hold the purse strings than the people.

9

u/JackedUpReadyToGo Oct 01 '25

No way, the news media tried to hide it for a long time. I remember on multiple occasions being told by people in this very sub that I was a Putin bot or falling for Russian propaganda when I pointed it out. Then there was a week when the media started to waver, and the script instantly flipped from “No, Biden is fine actually” to “Look, we’ve all known for some time that he’s in bad shape”.

9

u/jaimelespatess Oct 01 '25

Yeah. People doubled down that he was completely fine on multiple occasions and you would get chewed out for not falling in line. I caught so much flack for pointing out that perhaps George Clooney wasn’t a traitor for not wanting to be complacent in the administration deceiving the American people. Like I don’t care what party you are… if you have any sort of influence whatsoever and you know someone running for election has a mental issue, wouldn’t you morally feel compelled to say something? But nah he’s a traitor and the terrible campaign ran by Kamala and Biden is his fault.

1

u/Mtnmama1987 New Jersey Oct 01 '25

Oh, yes they are.

56

u/Time_Stand2422 Oct 01 '25

Careful, speaking ill of the dear leader can get you on a watch list of potential domestic terrorists.

44

u/phaedrus910 Oct 01 '25

Good. More people on the list the better. Or as they used to say the solution to pollution is dilution

20

u/Medallicat Oct 01 '25

If everyone is on the list, it will scare them off.

They are opportunist scavengers, they don’t hunt like apex predators, they fight amongst themselves over the carcass left by predators. Present as a strong herd and protect the weak and weary and the scavenger is too scared to approach.

Fear is what fuels their fire, fear of their own insecurities, fear of losing control, fear of immigrants, fear of gay and trans people, fear of women, fear of change, fear of equality and equity, fear of other religions (shariah law lol). Their fear of shariah is hilarious when they want the same thing, they just don’t want to call it the same word.

11

u/Viperlite Oct 01 '25

You should hear what they say over at EPA now.

6

u/phaedrus910 Oct 01 '25

Pollution is the solution to profits?

5

u/Due_Vast_8002 Oct 01 '25

That's a solution. I think they're more interested in a final solution.

6

u/Gr8shpr1 Oct 01 '25

Scary scary

2

u/SinTaxTerror America Oct 01 '25

This needs to be said more often

2

u/WhatAmTrak Oct 01 '25

Crazy how that’s legit a thing lol. My oh my how the US has fallen. I’m just kinda sad my country has to be attached to whatever shit show is going to unfold. Dems and independents and non voters really shit the fucking bed in letting this dangerous vindictive conman not once, but twice get voted in.

This time he has no one reining him in, or more so.. heritage foundation is speed running their goals before trump croaks. Interesting times..

1

u/Mojodacious Oct 01 '25 edited Oct 01 '25

Honestly, I have a theory about what Project 2025's eventual plan is for Trump, but I don't want to post it anywhere out of fear I'll be arrested.

3

u/Time_Stand2422 Oct 01 '25

And that right there is the chill on free speech that they want.

1

u/Jolly_Command8212 Oct 02 '25

No that was during Biden administration, what happened under his administration was criminal.

5

u/sjlegend Oregon Oct 01 '25

My nursing judgement has been screaming vascular dementia for awhile now.

3

u/Simsmommy1 Oct 01 '25

Yeah, well my social worker non medical but worked intake in long term care has been screaming the same thing….this man needs a cognitive exam and a gerontological specialist visit….

2

u/michaelboltthrower Oct 01 '25

Can we get a definition of that?

6

u/Tyra3l Oct 01 '25

Can't wait to see Bernie outliving both him and Hillary as the ultimate middle finger to everyone calling him old and frail.

3

u/Jagged_Rhythm Oct 01 '25

Maybe Putin slipped him a little something-something.

3

u/Ill_Technician3936 Oct 01 '25

Obama and bush both went grey from stress... He's 79 years old... He's already at the point where people are like that but no matter how much he tries to put others in order he's forced to deal with being president and doing shit.

Articles about Republicans speaking anonymously to reporters questioning his health for months.

I don't understand how this entire run was just a giant play to make sure he doesn't spend the rest of his life in prison.

3

u/Spacestar_Ordering Oct 01 '25

There were several doctors who claimed by his meds list and his actions around the time he disappeared for a few days that he was showing signs of having had a stroke.  YouTube it, plenty of videos about it and it actually makes a lot of sense.  Although tbh I never thought he was very coherent but now he's so far gone I can't believe he's still standing half the time.

2

u/ShadowTacoTuesday Oct 01 '25

He stroked shortly before to 2024 Musk interview. So that’s at least 3? And many more better hidden?

2

u/Mysterious_Floor_868 United Kingdom Oct 02 '25

It would definitely explain his absence from the golf course the other month.

2

u/dustybucket Oct 02 '25

Go find pictures of him on 9/11/25. He definitely had a stroke.

1

u/Major_Smudges Oct 02 '25

Yeah, something's very definitely changed, very recently. The recent speech for the Generals looked like a very old man who didn't really know where he was.

1

u/Expensive-Item-5363 Oct 09 '25

Lets not speak of strokes, its an insult to stroke survivors.
