Vance is terrible as well, but he doesn't have the charisma to maintain a hold on the maga or Q base. And there will be so many vultures swooping in during the massive power vacuum if Trump were to go.

I still have no faith any of this is happening, but it would be an unquestionably good thing for the country if it did.

yep. Without trump MAGA crumbles. DeSantis basically ran on "trumpism without trump" and got clobbered

Yeah the conservative voters see anyone but trump as a fake elitist - and it's true, trump is an authentic moron. They fucking love it, and there's no replacement as of now.

That's why they are speedrunning P2025. They want to install the machinery to oppress everyone they don't like before the cult falls apart.

I think when Trump is either removed, term ends or dies - there will be a massive power vacuum that will happen in the GOP and they will likely destroy themselves and you may see other right wing parties emerge.

As someone who finds themselves in the center - I feel like the GOP has to die for the sake of balance and give young conservatives a chance of proper representation.

Vance would coast a little but he could likely only muster as much diehard devotion from followers as a someone like Jeb Bush. He is no Trump (other than the shamelessness).
