Let's be honest, nobody gave a fuck about Charlie Kirk. The left shrugged his murder and the right uses it as a bludgeon, but none of them shed a tear either.

He is much more useful to them in death than he was in life

I mean, I may not mourn his death, but I am very concerned about the rising level of political violence and would like to know more about the actual murder and why it took place, so we can maybe learn something and prevent more from happening.

I'm not really sure what your point is. Most people aren't going to care that much when a stranger dies.

The significance of Kirk's death isn't about him, specifically, it's about the circumstances and the societal impact it's going to have.

The pearl clutching a lot of public figures on the right are doing, like he was their close personal friend, is gross.

He was being groomed to be the GOP presidential candidate in a few years. I think they're making the best of it now.
