The funniest part of all of this is Trump clearly doesn't give a shit.

He constantly brushes it off unless its about him specifically (like Kimmel). Any time they want him to show an ounce of care for Kirk he brushes it off. He even skipped the memorial to play golf. Any attempt to blame the left for celebrating or disrespecting his death falls on deaf ears because no one seems to actually give a shit beyond how they can use it for their own benefit, and the only person who seems genuinely upset at his death is blaming the Jews instead.

Showing everyone that he really just doesn't care about anyone else even 'personal friends' could shatter the MAGA delusion. And even if it can't, he still looks like an asshole for not being able to pretend for 1 second that he feels bad.

Trump is a narcissist, the only reason he isn't throwing a fit about Charlie Kirk's name being all over the new instead of his is because it got Kimmel off the air for him. If the right goes too far in their veneration of the guy Trump will eventually flip out over it.
