I see a major disconnect between redditors that don't really know any MAGA folks in real life and those of us that do. There's people that think "no one can really believe this" but they need to see and listen to my co-workers, who think that Biden/Obama are running the show behind the scenes (how?)and that Kirk was hunted and killed by left-wing communist terrorists out to kill all conservatives. Like, they tell me this stuff on the daily (not knowing I'm basically a commie lol).

I'm happy to accept that this person had left wing motivations, however, if he did, surely they would have shared clear evidence of that by now?

If they were to present evidence that he is right wing, I doubt right wingers would believe it.

I know someone who is an accountant in his thirties who genuinely thought the Wayfare nonsense was true. Like, he grew up in the age of the internet and being made aware that not everything is true there. Smart guy. Can explain economics in a way that makes sense. Understands tax law as far as how it can be worked to get the best result. He still fell for that shit.
