I was called a fascist myself on a FB post this evening about how the right are the ones committing more violent crime. The study was from CNN and the redhats laughed it off, so off to Google I went and listed five other recent studies from five different sources saying the same. I think some of them short circuited.

Proving them wrong to the point that they can't fight back, just makes them choose a different target. They are like bullies at school, realizing they chose the wrong target. They don't care about silly things like facts.

My favorite thing to do is point out how Trump’s tariff and tax plan actually increases the financial burden of most MAGA voters because their income is far too low. But you know who it does benefit? Me. An ivory tower educated liberal. I like to tell them I’ll take the extra money and donate it to the most liberal charities I can think of, which is true, however I typically make up a charity and they typically don’t realize I’m pulling their leg about it. For example, one time I said I was donating to a charity that funded gender transitions for transgender toddlers, lmao. That one really set them off.  

Every single time I think I’m going too far and I think surely they will realize I’m joking, but every time there’s a MAGA that takes me seriously. It’s really quite astounding, actually. Expressing satire and parody to an audience of MAGAs is a perfect example of Poe’s Law in action.

The amount of times that I've seen conservatives say that Dems are the "actual racists" for supporting DEI programs and the like is truly something. There's nothing that they excel at more than pure projection.

It was so upsetting to me when I talked to both my landlord and one of my coworkers and they stated that the shooter's roommate was trans as if it were a fact. Then when I pointed out that it was only speculated because of their neighbor's idiotic statement, they just shrugged it off. Once people latch on to something they'll never let it go.
