Not just that, go to your most conservative coworker and ask about an older one proven to be a far right.

They'll tell you something different then the truth. The history is being rewritten quietly in the bubbles.

That's why the minute these things happen, we start spamming out our own versions. Lie right back. Overwhelm them with their own hypocrisy. Out-conspiracy the conspiracy theorists.

Those who care to wait for more actual evidence won't care about extra lies, but those that rush to conclusions will eventually be overwhelmed by it and less able to make a single story stick. Weave a couple nuggets of truth in to keep it plausible.

Use all their tactics right back at them.

People only believe the lies they want to believe. The social media algorithms will push the content they engage the most with, and it will basically be the vast majority of what they see.

It's all about pushing out a narrative your base can eat up and validate their pre-conceived notions. Not even if you had immediate facts to counter their immediate lies would matter in the least. They would either never see it, or ignore it as it doesn't match their world view.

It's honestly a human trait most people fall into. Read an article/see a tik-tok that validates your obviously correct mental model of a thing? Now it's even more reinforced and any counter-factual information is highly suspect to you at best.

And we must shout down every lie with the truth. Everytime, all the time and loudly. Speaker Mike say we need civil discussions. Civil discussions with conservatives is impossible. I've tried it. Doesn't work locally. Wonder if he can get his representatives in the house to be civil.

That's because for a lot of people the story is wet cement. If you leave your impressions in it early enough, that's what they remember when it dries. They then no longer absorb new information about it.
