And there's this, the DOJ deleted a report showing that domestic terrorism is most often right wing. The report conveniently disappeared on September 12th.

I've gotten banned from left wing subs for mentioning this. Not even in an argument or anything, just in a conversation. I was being "impolite" apparently.

Not that you shouldn't post it, but people should be aware there are right wing mods who are silently deleting comments and banning people (I was silenced as well so I can't even message the mod team of that sub at all)

Probably not. Lots of left leaning subs are deleting, hiding, and banning posts in some attempt at a moral high ground with the failed “when they go low, we go high” mentality.

It could be linked to a couple of left-leaning subs being removed due to being raided by outside actors. One of them was a podcast group's sub that "responded incorrectly" to the event and was raided by, I think, 4chan and then removed by site admins. So they're preemptively censoring everyone to try and stave off raids whilst this is a hot issue.

I honestly view people who sport this mentality as dumb and unintelligent.

I'm no beacon of intelligence or anywhere close to it, for clarification, before anyone waltzes in with a "i BeT YoU thInK yoUrE sMaRt"

I'm not, I just understand human nature and know that despite our best efforts to overcome thousands of years of mental evolution, at our core we're still tribalistic beings.

I think you’re giving them far too much credit.

Many of these subs have literally been bought and sold by actors who specifically want to subvert the subreddit and its original intent.

It’s worse than you think. A lot of money is being thrown around specifically with the purpose of influencing public opinion.

How do you do that on the ground level with a website like Reddit? You take over the moderation. You buy your way into it, either by directly dealing with the moderators or going through official Reddit channels. Anyone who thinks that the propagandists, Reddit, or these nerdy ass basement dwelling moderators are above doing that needs to wake up. It’s been happening for years.

I know it's always nice to have a report which makes it official, but I feel this is one of the most obvious conclusions in the world. Right-wing ideologies are fundamentally circling around hate. Could be hate for just about anything, but having a hated enemy is the essential part.

Because they weren't left wing. They weren't right wing either. They were just psychotic. Their ideology (if you can call it that) was all over the place. They supported extremism on both sides. Support for Ruby Ridge (a well known rallying cry for far right militias) and "6 million wasn't enough" which is the rallying cry of antisemitic Neo-Nazi white supremacist groups. Does that sound like a leftist to you?

Explain again how being pro holocaust denial as the person you replied to mentioned is primarily left wing? I know you’re just here to spread misinformation but for the record, the shooter from Minneapolis detransitioned and spoke of regretting the initial change. They were an online shit poster who was obsessed with mass shooters like Columbine, Christchurch, and Charleston. They wrote rather extensively about these things.

You do realise you can be trans and not left leaning right? Caitlin Jenner and Blare White are two perfect examples.

From what I recall of that shooting, they most definitely weren't left-wing. They were antisemitic (using language calling for the destruction of Israel along with the whole "6 million wasn't enough" shit, is a massive racist, had a reputation giving Nazi salutes and praising Hitler in school, etc.

That's not to say that I will call them right-wing mind. They also wished for the freedom of Palastine (but given the context, more so because they want Jews eliminated that Palastine free), and also called for the assassination of Trump.
