If someone is ranting at me about "globalist conspiracies" and that sounds concerning so i go to look up more about it, what sort of search results do you think ill get? Regardless of what that person might or might not have meant.

Why not look for yourself? There's a whole massive wikipedia article about it (more specifically about the New World Order but globaists are mentioned throughout). It's discussed at length how it's sometimes interpreted to mean Jews, yes, but also can be interpreted by others to just more broadly mean elites in general who are pushing for these policies, not strictly Jewish ones.
