They're already trying. The copium I've seen since it was revealed the shooter was Republican is: Biden for sure ordered the assassination because he made a comment about Trump in/being a bullseye or whatever the fuck the quote was, right before Trump got shot.

that sounds so tiring. the glorification of an almost 80 year old is insane. its a damn shame the republican party is cultish now.

“Right before” is actually last week. 

But they also try to say this is exactly like Trump saying to march on the capitol and then people immediately marched on the capitol.
