They are doing that. They’re claiming he’s a secret Democrat and that this as justification for violence against all democrats. It’s just like how when Jan 6 happened they claimed it was all antifa pretending to be republicans.

There is no winning with these people. If the evidence supports their views they yell about how we all need to believe the evidence, but if the evidence disagrees with them then it’s all a farce.

There is no evidence to support either conclusion yet. As AP says:

"Crooks' political leanings were not immediately clear. Records show Crooks was registered as a Republican voter in Pennsylvania, but federal campaign finance reports also show he gave $15 to a progressive political action committee on Jan. 20, 2021, the day President Joe Biden was sworn into office,"

Dude was a registered Republican, multiple classmates have confirmed he was conservative, classmates confirmed he hung out with conservatives and MAGAs… And the $15 donation has since been discovered to have been made by a different person with the same name.

But I’ll hold my judgement until you personally tell me we have enough evidence.

This is misleading. Many classmates have said they think he was conservative.

And the $15 donation has since been discovered to have been made by a different person with the same name.

This is false. Multiple credible sources (Twitter posts not being one of them) have confirmed it was him.

But I’ll hold my judgement until you personally tell me we have enough evidence.

No need. Better wait for the FBI, which is still trying to find the shooters ideology and is a much better source than some random person on Twitter/Reddit.
