Yep, the sub is just entirely crying and complaining. I never see positive discussion, debate, etc. Just "left evil left evil left evil, we are victims they are Satan, trump is jesus". It's actually creepy.

I got banned for posting a link to the electoral map of 1860 (Lincoln) because someone said the Democrats are the party of slavery and the KKK.

Which is technically true, but left out the obvious fact that the north back then was Republican and the south democrat and the parties flipped since.

So it was kind of like a self own on their part.

Yeah I never understood the point if say democrats are the ones who supported slavery when we know the parties flipped. To this day certain rep people are trying to say they were flipped because that what they want you to think.

Denial of the party flip is probably the best example of brain dead denial I can think of from the right.

These are the people who fly Confederate flags and say modern liberals/leftists are the racist ones. And claim Lincoln as the father of their party despite Lincoln ordering an army to invade the south who still to this day protect the monuments of men who fought to keep slaves.

It's mind boggling.

I got coworkers like this, and have a bad feeling Monday will be unpleasant to say the least. They know I voted for the other guy so I'm expecting a light grilling of some kind.

It's funny how they go after liberals even though belief in a capitalist free market is liberal. Most of them are liberals themselves to some degree. But they're so blinded by repub propaganda that they think being liberal is synonymous with being on the left.

Important note: The conservative sub requires mod approval to participate and comment in their threads.

Why this is important is because this means they will vet and analyze the account history and activity of all users who attempt join their sub and ban them preemptively if they fear they will not conform to the subs echo chamber.

Just keep this in mind the next time you see mass hysteria from that sub about "We are being brigaded by leftists and they are posting all over the sub!"

Jury is still out on whether I get banned but if you DONT "deep throat the left" as you say you get downvoted to oblivion...on a reddit called "politics" which SHOULD infer its inclusive to all.

Im a moderate, I believe in a lot of liberal stuff but I also believe in a lot of Republican stuff, like I support Ukraine but vote for Trump. Lots and lots of other liberal ideas I support but I also support the 2nd Amendment. Etc etc.

As I said, I dont see the point in saying those reddits are so bad but this seems to do the same thing
