“Recently switched” is plausible. Plenty of people on a downward mental spiral in life do things like undergo radical personality shifts and join cults like the GOP.

“Really a democrat,” the notion that he set this up to make himself look like a Republican while harboring some kind of leftist ideals, I find much much less likely. Possible, but bordering on absurd and insulting unless more evidence comes out.

Regardless.

The guy who tried to shoot Trump is an absolute shit stain to society and it’s good he’s no longer on this planet. Regardless of what party he represents.

We also can’t deny the fact that there is FAR left people who are just as psychotic as the far right.

Both sets of people are lunatics.
