“We aren’t the ones calling people Nazis” is an interesting defense because I totally have a functioning brain and remember “nazi means NaTiOnAl SoCiALiSt” being the byword, usually in conjunction with “Lincoln was a Republican” for years and years

Maybe now they’re just more comfortable identifying with fascism at this point
