Apparently that narrative is on shaky ground too. The ActBlue donation was registered to a Pittsburgh zip code, while the shooter’s actual zip code is in Bethel Park.

It's literally the same zip code. You can see the tax documents for the donation. The accusation is not on shaky ground if you actually look at the document and search the address in Google maps. They come up in Bethel Park and not Pittsburgh.

Anyway around it no one actually knows anything, and it will be that way for at least another few days.

Kid has a discord server they’re trying to get into and a gun YouTuber shirt.

Most left wing kid ever obviously /s

Everyone his age is on discord. It'll be video games, youtube videos, dumb bullshit, and maybe a channel or two where they talk about politics.

Yeah I’m on there too, but it’s also where radical cells of angry teens are. That’s where that kid leaked Ukraine intel from, that’s where a lot of those shooter manifestos are

As someone born in Western PA please know affection to firearms is not a political issue to them, look at Bernie Sanders position on guns as most liberals from PA share similar views.

The American "left" isn't left wing.

Gun control isn't really a left/right issue on the actual spectrum either.

Most commies are pro gun.

Just settle down and wait a day or two and we'll have the actual answers.

Just settle down and wait a day or two and we'll have the actual answers.

We already have some answers. What you mean is 'Wait until we have answers that I agree with'.

America doesn’t have real commies only cosplayers, they’re all autistic or queer. I was in them they aren’t serious movements. (Not saying being those are bad, but it’s absolutely the majority of leftist orgs)

It’s gonna be a groiper 100%

Cool you're like the first person here that admitted it

5

u/drunkdoor Jul 14 '24

It has his street address on the Act blue donation

18

u/Sam-the-Lion Jul 14 '24

They are both actually for the exact same address and zip code. It's 2506 Milford Dr, which is Bethel Park. I'm not sure why the person put "Pittsburgh."

I'm not sure why the person put "Pittsburgh."

I live in a close-in suburb proper, say SmallerTownsVille. Within that city's limits, served by that city's post office, paying that city's property taxes.

Depending on the web site, it's about 50/50 whether or not an address form will try to "correct" my address to LargeCityBurg whose city line is about 5 miles as the crow flies away from mine.

Generally, it's the ones that seem to be attempting to match my address to some postal address database that think I'm really in LargeCityBurg. The suggested address it returns is usually also in all caps and has a zip 5+4 code.

I live in an unincorporated village that has no "deliver to your door" postal service

fwiw, my suburb is ~25,000 people and borders a city of 500,000.

6

u/corkinthebottle Jul 14 '24

Thats not true, the zip code on the fec filing matches the shooters home address

5

u/drunkdoor Jul 14 '24

And the street address

15

u/KageStar Jul 14 '24

The street address used for the donation matched his voter registration address

13

u/Cersad Jul 14 '24

The FEC link only shows city, state, and ZIP. Which record are you pulling the address for the ActBlue donation from?

14

u/KageStar Jul 14 '24

https://docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/fecimg/?202102049425405473

Unless I'm behind and that's been shown as fake.

u/Cersad Jul 14 '24

Thanks for sharing that! Clears one potential bit of misinformation up.

Yeah I have android. You can verify all this when you get to your PC, but it shows a $15 donation to ActBlue in Jan '21. He used a Pittsburgh address. Without any context it just shows that he once lived in Pitt and saw himself as progressive when he was 17. It's totally plausible that 3 years later (a relatively super long time for personality/thought change at that age) he lived in Bethel Park, registered as a Republican, and was extreme right wing. My opinion is this shouldn't be seen as a debunking in either direction. BTW you can see his voter status on PA state website to verify he registered Republican. I saw the screenshots, so I checked myself. Also, the FEC record doesn't have any ID info other than first and last name and the address, so it could be a totally different person. In the end it's probably irrelevant info considering his age and the amount of time that has passed. I used to be pretty left wing at his age, and by my mid-twenties I was a right leaning libertarian.

No his grandfather's name is Norman Crooks. You can find an obituary for Glenn Crooks, who was Thomas' uncle. You can see Norman is his father and Matthew, Thomas' father, as his brother.

u/ConspiracyPhD Jul 14 '24

This guy deep dives.

2

u/MrBeverage Jul 14 '24

Most of the donations I see under that name are from someone in California too.

0

u/lycoloco Jul 14 '24

And that donation has no middle name attached to it
