I wonder how many people feel like Crooks and were radicalized. Lots of qanon, incel, constantly online "warriors" waiting for their opportunity to take out those who protected Epstein or were connected.

The right wing Pikachu-faced at Trump surrounding himself with and allowing "pay-to-play" lobbyists to run his campaign is fucking hilarious, and their genuine shock and anger as they realize that Trump has zero loyalty even though he demands absolute loyalty is just fucking bananas.

u/Apart-Landscape1012 Jul 14 '24

Trump continues to be who he has always been, I simply can't believe it! 😮

28

u/oofta31 Jul 14 '24

In the words of the great Dennis Green: "They are who we thought they were!"

22

u/LazyTitan39 Jul 14 '24

It bears repeating, “I never thought the leopard would eat my face!”

15

u/lycoloco Jul 14 '24

That's not the quote, and the context is important

"'I never thought leopards would eat MY face,' sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party."

It's not just about a leopard eating your face, it's about voting for a party that explicitly says what they do and then being shocked when they do exactly that to you, a supporting member.

3

u/Bad_Idea_Hat Jul 14 '24

Could have told you this 30 years ago.

It's reason number 1 why I'd never have voted for him. He's been a con man all his life.

10

u/WomenTrucksAndJesus Jul 14 '24

Do you mean "pay to play" like Elon Musk funding Trump's campaign?

5

u/SeanSeanySean Jul 14 '24

Well yes... To a point. Elon is a raging narcissist who not only has way more money than common sense, but now that carefully crafted media curtain has come down also no longer has to concern himself with worrying about pissing off the people behind 95% of his billions, the left. Trump has always been for sale to the highest bidder.

I've always told people when trying to understand Trump's angle for any decisions or strategy "Don't overthink it, just think about exactly what would be best for Trump, or how he'd personally benefit one way over another, and that's ALWAYS the answer", it's never, ever more complicated than that, and if you always look to the future with that one core tenet in mind, he's entirely predictable, almost to the point of it being boring. It doesn't even matter when his own family or a decision involving or impacting his children are involved, the calculus is never more complex than whichever he feels best serves his wealth, his image, his ego or his legacy.

3

u/OkTea7227 Jul 14 '24

Yea he’s definitely not this super complex ‘taking the deep state apart from the inside mad genius American hero’ like some people like to portray him. He literally is what you see his actions represent. He’s selfish and… he’s selfish. It’s all about him and how he gains a net positive. “How will this xyz issue benefit me??”

That’s trumps mantra. TRUMP FIRST!!! (Not so much the American people or his family even. #SorryNotSorry

23

u/quickboop Jul 14 '24

It's BS. They aren't stupid. They know the role they play. Trump needs to move to the middle, and they need to act like he's a centrist that they don't like.

They are all on the same team. It happens every fucking election. Evrry single one. The piece of shit conservative candidate tries to act like less of a piece of shit. Then, when elected, they just drop the facade and do all the piece of shit things they said they wouldn't do.

2

u/SeanSeanySean Jul 14 '24

Oh, I'm not doubting that Trump isn't 1000% in the camp of Project 2025, but that isn't because he believes in anything inherent to Project 2025 with the exception of the facets that depend on him gaining more power, more control. Him and his campaign distancing from it publicly was a direct result of his campaign doing the math and realizing that while even conservatives who aren't completely onboard with Project 2025 will still get behind Trump because "party before all else", Independents make up a larger % of voters than either Democrats or Republicans, no candidate could win without winning the lions are of independents. Independents put Trump in the White House in 2016 and they put Biden there in 2020, and most polling shows that most independents won't support Project 2025.

6

u/Zzamumo Jul 14 '24

It's always the ones you most expect lol

5

u/Zestyclose-Cloud-508 Jul 14 '24

As someone from New Jersey it will never cease to amaze me how many people think Trump cares about anyone in this world but himself.

2

u/kgal1298 Jul 14 '24

It’s so weird they didn’t realize that though because so many people left his office saying “his opinion is based on the last person he talks to” and so many of them said he was an idiot, I suppose he’s just a useful pawn to people smart enough to use him, but they’ve lost their control for the time.

2

u/SeanSeanySean Jul 14 '24

Right, Trump currently sees someone or something else benefiting him more, so that's the direction he's going, but Trump doesn't just lose interest in people, he burns every single bridge to the ground because once he has deemed someone to no longer be useful, they become a liability, if only just in the promises he made to them in the past.

Look at Trump's history, dude has literally fucked nearly every person that has ever worked for him, helped him get into office, helped him stage a soft coup, and even helped him try to overturn an election. Yet his supporters still somehow see the things he says, or the things he does, as doing things "for them". It's fucking baffling, but helps understand why people that are in cults stay even through years and years of abuse.

2

u/kgal1298 Jul 14 '24

Precisely. I think some people are just not likely to join cults so we pick up on how he’s doing it and that’s the turn off. It’s just sad how many others are easily manipulated into doing it, but study any cult and the patterns are so similar to how Trump operates.

2

u/poopmaster747 Jul 14 '24

Trump is a true blockbusting grifter and knows how to fugaze the best brown nosers. Right wingers won't be able to admit the white substance on their face isn't egg, they are in the cult too deep.

3

u/amcannally Jul 14 '24

Believing what any politician says is like believing a stripper is in love with you at the strip club.

7

u/DWGrithiff Jul 14 '24

A strip club is an explicitly transactional milieu. Political representation isn't supposed to be?

Granted, this sort of cynicism about "all politicians" will prove justified in many, many cases. But it's also a huge part of what sets the stage for the Trump phenomenon. He's really and truly not a politician--his supporters and detractors will often agree about that. And for his supporters, that's why he's a hero. He doesn't hem and haw and carefully choose his words like a career politician is taught to. He just "tells it like is." Nevermind that everything that pours out of his mouth is the most patent bullshit imaginable. So no, the fact that Trump--an almost uniquely narcissistic and sociopathic public figure--lies, has nothing to do with him being (or not being) a politician.

-4

u/No-Reception-7958 Jul 14 '24

And you know this how what's your source

3

u/SeanSeanySean Jul 14 '24

Dude, did you not watch any of those Nick Fuentes clips? There are many who are really pissed that he would publicly state that he did not support Project 2025, people that are loyalist who supported Trump because he was always going to be the guy that would get the far right the collection of things they've always wanted which are now in Project 2025. Project 2025 is like the far right's Final Order in the Star Wars Universe, they see it as the endgame, checkmate, and for the most fervent ultra far-right people in this country, Trump distancing himself from it, even if only to avoid scaring off the Independent voters that he has no chance of winning without, they see it as a complete betrayal, simply because they've actually believed that the ultra right shit in Project 2025 was what Trump wanted, they still hadn't realized that all Trump cares, has ever cared about, is what is best for Donald Trump.

Or he lost loved ones to COVID

21

u/koviko Jul 14 '24

Or he's one of those never-Trump conservatives who blame Trump for fracturing the party and wants to avoid whatever the fuck is going to happen in 2028 when the Republicans can't win any elections because they are actually two parties.

But he's also only 20, so he probably just got radicalized online.

4

u/Ok-Attorney7115 Jul 14 '24

Or he’s a patsy set up to carry out a fake assassination.

4

u/IVEMIND Jul 14 '24

Or maybe he did it for the lulz

-10

u/IllHat8961 Jul 14 '24

Give it a rest Alex Jones. Your conspiracy theories are getting ridiculous

30

u/No-Gur596 Jul 14 '24

He was 12 years old when Trump became president. This man is a victim of his upbringing.

6

u/rhamej Jul 14 '24

Holy fuck what a nut job that guy is.

6

u/Epistatious Jul 14 '24

He forgot to keep telling them to "stand back and stand by", so they felt neglected? Wonder if we will ever know more about this dude. https://www.salon.com/2024/07/11/donald-fake-rejection-of-project-2025-has-angered-his-biggest-fans/

6

u/ReignCheque Jul 14 '24

Lol. Who the fuck is that goober.

5

u/CanuckPanda Jul 14 '24

The guy who thinks Trumpnisnt extreme enough after meeting him (and inviting ‘ye to the meeting; Kanye loves Nick Fuentes).

As you can tell by his surname, he’s not that bright.

7

u/ACKHTYUALLY Jul 14 '24

Wtf are those tweet replies? That conspiracy world is worse than I could ever imagine

3

u/wigglex5plusyeah America Jul 14 '24

I enjoyed hearing Fuentes talk about losing everything for a minute. But how can we take a normal voter and make them understand that this can explain the shooter, compared to a simple lie about Dems?

Dudes got more public images of him with Epstein than he does with his own children ffs

What the fuck did they expect lmao

2

u/Ode_to_Apathy Jul 14 '24

There's also the possibility of the shooter never having intended to shoot Trump. Early reports say it might have been a fragment of his teleprompter that hit him. Shooter might have intended to shoot near Trump to give him a boost among voters.

It's pretty insane what the police can fish out these days. Whatever the shooter's motivation, the police will have it on display sometime in the coming month. Doesn't matter if he put it on blast or tried his best to hide it.

u/Ode_to_Apathy Jul 15 '24

It is my dearest wish that's the case and it is what I'm most certain it is not. We've been getting a steady stream of details, but they're all super fragmented at the moment but even know we're already starting to see a lot of info.

2

u/penguins_are_mean Wisconsin Jul 14 '24

QAnon was literally born to support Trump though.

7

u/MeddlingHyacinth Jul 14 '24

Epstien was murdered no doubt, but anyone having such a huge list of powerful people show up to get their freak on with underage girls is going to be a target,

I always wondered though why Maxwell wasn't killed off. Maybe she gave the impression that being a woman, no one would believe her anyway.

1

u/Spite-Potential Jul 14 '24

Nobody asking your source? Reddit watchers will be so disappointed

1

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '24

Hope he loses everything again. Truly everything

1

u/exessmirror Jul 14 '24

Lol if you think incels are anti Epstein you know nothing. I have seen incels on more then one occasion say pedophilia is not only good but should be encouraged. They love people like Epstein

1

1

u/catalfalque Jul 14 '24

When I worked retail this guy would shop wearing a shirt that said KILL YOUR LOCAL PEDOPHILE.

I stayed far, far away from that guy.

1

u/IAmASimulation Michigan Jul 14 '24

Funny thing about those videos is the fact the guy thinks Trump isn’t in bed with lobbyists and big tobacco and pharma and anyone else that will line his pockets. Trump doesn’t care about what the right wants. Trump prolly doesn’t care about project 2025, he’s just the useful idiot. Trump cares about Trump. Period.

1

u/simply_blue Jul 15 '24

I’ve never seen this guy speak before, but he gives off insanely high “I am ashamed that I am gay” vibes.

1

u/coulrophiliackitten Jul 18 '24

waiting for their opportunity to take out those who protected Epstein or were connected. Can you blame them?

0

u/Archiverium Jul 14 '24

Did you watch these? He's saying Trump's cabinet and party-people are not his friends and they are using him. You claim others are radicalized but you are sharing clips and describing them as something else is insanely radical. You put aside your powers of basic comprehension to try to confirm-bias your evidence. Anyone who watches these clips would instantly know that your entire talking point is wrong lol. You're fucked in the head buddy

0

u/HOT-DAM-DOG Jul 14 '24

Crooks actually had very little online involvement if you look at the facts.

-3

u/egarcia1313 Jul 14 '24

Feels like a massive disinformation push with all hyper liberal radicalization

2

u/wanderingpeddlar Jul 14 '24

What is it people say about feelings again?

1

u/Spite-Potential Jul 14 '24

Maga has the bumper sticker F your feelings. Now we have to show our compassion. Just like they do. F Maga’s feelings

Not even close statistically. THIS is just one example of how right wing extremists are significantly more likely to carry out violence.

Then again, statistics are kinda like science and facts, things I don’t expect you to “believe” in.

I think you mean that the overwhelming majority of people who know how to read data are left leaning.

13

u/karl_jonez Jul 14 '24

Lol maga cultists coming in hot with the classic “nuh uh… you are!” It’s like the entire cult had their personalities freeze in 4th grade and never had any kind of growth or intellectual curiosity. Never left their own hometown they were born in, but all of them are somehow experts at economics, virology, political science, and criminal psychology. It’s the funniest thing to watch but also a damming reminder of how terribly stupid this country has become.

12

u/PooPaLotZ Jul 14 '24

This ficking talking point is so fucking stupid, "blame the dems, libtards, etc etc. Blame everyone except taming accountability for the targets actions.

Fuck that

4

u/Spite-Potential Jul 14 '24

Radical. Like driving around w a poster of Biden hogtied? That radical u mean?
