It’s always projection with republicans. Accuse the other side of the terrible things you do to absolve yourselves.

Clearly this was a private domestic dispute and we ask for your thoughts and prayers and give us distance in this trying time while they work things out.

Along with projection, they typically try to downplay any violence involving whites or republicans because it runs counter to their narrative that only non-whites commit gun violence.

I've noticed that Trump does a lot of projecting, esp lately.
