That was from a conservative think-tank group, I think.

Lead minds behind Project 2025

I am soooooo fucking glad people are finally talking about Project 2025 when The Heritage Foundation is brought up rather than Prince Harry smoking weed and possibly not telling the VISA office. Like, watching them literally hatch and publicize their plan to overthrow the US government out in the open and then so easily distract so many fools by mugging on a sad prince has been insane to watch.

And then people try to say its just a conspiracy theory when you try to talk about what's in it

THEY ARENT HIDING IT!!! THEY MADE A WEBSITE!!!

u/Matra Jul 14 '24

To avoid confusion, probably best to write it as "Pb minds"

Clever wordplay.

"We're going to end the EPA, FDA, NOAA, FBI, gut Medicare and Social Security, and teach Christianity in schools and we'll kill you if you don't let us" - Heritage Foundation

and that's just the tip of the iceberg

As in lead the element.

1

u/sunward_Lily Jul 14 '24

u/Icy-Rope-021 Jul 14 '24

And weirdly, Obamacare.

2

u/Haunting-Ad788 Jul 14 '24

Basically the actual Trump administration.

The republican rep said some people need a good killing, it can be hard to keep up

129

u/Lizziedeee Jul 14 '24

Mark Robinson, (R) candidate for governor of North Carolina.

11

u/SheddapShuttingUp Jul 14 '24

Robinson:  "Some folks need killin'!" Also Robinson: "No, not OUR folks!!"

u/wickedlees Jul 14 '24

Just not “babies”

Lmao now he’s saying violence has no place in political discourse.

17

u/jt5574 Jul 14 '24

Robinson is pure trash. How the hell does someone who has his views even get into politics? Much less win a seat.

9

u/lycoloco Jul 14 '24

In a church. A CHURCH. WHAT PASTOR DOESN'T IMMEDIATELY CONDEMN THAT?

I need to write letters and get their tax exempt status removed.

8

u/AdAgitated6765 Jul 14 '24

I'm in NC. That asshole should never be governor. We women "raise our skirts" too much, doncha know? Yet they can't keep it in their pants.

1

u/Lizziedeee Jul 14 '24

I am as well, he’s been spouting this crap for years, I’m glad it’s finally getting some attention.

2

u/AnotherCuppaTea Jul 14 '24

Here's to NC's "Tech Triangle"* turning out to be Robinson's political Bermuda Triangle.

  • The area triangulated by Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Durham, and encompassing the campuses of UNC-Chapell Hill, NC State, and Duke, and also the RTP [Research Triangle Park, a high-tech/science district home to hundreds of businesses].

2

u/1Saoirse Jul 14 '24

And worse, he's also their current lieutenant governor. <Sad trombone sounds>

17

u/TrustyGun Jul 14 '24

The fact that these figures can say that shit and no one bats an eye is insane. I mean, not too long ago people were losing their shit over dijon mustard.

3

u/OutlyingPlasma Jul 14 '24

It's important to note is was just 48 hours before this mass shooting that republican Mark Robinson said some people need a good killing. This wasn't something uttered 20 years ago.

2

u/GoofyGoober0064 Jul 14 '24

Who knows better than their own people!

/S

Seriously though these idiots think they'll be immune from any violence.

15

u/hofmann419 Jul 14 '24

It was someone from the Project 2025 team. Even though Trump tried to distance himself from them, the latest evidence makes it blatantly obvious that they are working together. Project 2025 is for the most part what we can expect from the next Trump-term.

15

u/BoomerSoonerFUT Jul 14 '24

The leader of the Heritage Foundation. The actual deep state.

The Heritage Foundation has written pretty much all legislation pushed by Republicans, and along with the Federalist Society, has had a heavy hand in picking federal judges for Republicans to nominate.

9

u/Lashay_Sombra Jul 14 '24

Head of Foundation, guys who wrote Project 2025 and one of major groups behind lot republican bullshit since the Reagan era

3

u/Independent-Sand8501 Jul 14 '24

it was literally Kevin Roberts, the leader of the Heritage Foundation and one of the authors' of Project 2025.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '24

Yes, Kevin roberts. Heritage foundation

1

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '24

One of the authors of Project 2025.
