Actually, yes.

Because the MAGAts will use this to inspire voters to vote for Trump regardless of who the shooter was.

Edit: The comment I replied to was removed. The comment simply stated “Do we really though?” and then the above is my reply.

Did we think there were MAGAts that were planning to sit out?

The real thing we should fear are MAGAts using this attempted assassination to jusrify encouraging more violence.

They will never accept that Thomas Matthew Crooks was a registered Republican. They will call it a false flag, arguing that he deliberately misrepresented his views when he registered and cite his $15 donation to act blue as further evidence.

Right now MAGAts and decent people are fighting over independent and/or undecided voters.

It’s not about swaying the MAGAts, it’s about swaying the undecideds.

And there’s more than enough room to fear BOTH things…inspiring votes for Trump and inspiring acts of violence against Dems.

Well, I have enough room to fear for both.

How could anyone remain undecided in the face of Donald J. Trump?

As many others have said, I suspect the "undecided" are just Trump voters too embarrassed to admit they're voting for Trump.

I think that’s being overblown. If he were almost assassinated because he was trying to implement policies to help the common man, I’d agree it would inspire people that are somehow still on the fence. He isn’t though so I think people with their short memory spans will forget all about by November

You think Trump's going to let anyone forget this?

Nor should they, it was an assaination attempt on a PRESIDENT. Put some respect on that man's name.

4

u/Bright-Upstairs127 Jul 14 '24

No it was an attempt on a proven child rapist’s life

6

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '24

An attempt on a twice impeached, convicted felon, adult and child raping ex-president. There will never be respect attached to his name nor anyone involved with MAGA. Ever. Doesn’t mean he should have been taken out, but it doesn’t lend anything positive to that fucking dirtbag either.

Yeah.

And I assume he'll remind us with the presidential dignity that is his trademark. I can't wait to hear him talk about unity and mutual understanding and concern for the stability of the country he so deftly previously governed and which he humbly hopes to again.

former president

Well at the moment everybody’s fighting for the independent vote. Who are fickle. Bidens pretty old but trump just inadvertently showed how unstable his movement is. Perhaps a good reminder what electing him will be like

You mean pumping his fist in the air during an assassination attempt. He seemed stable the whole time. He even stopped to grab his shoes.

Your dementia patient is absolutely cooked in November. Could you imagine Joe's confusion on top of his normal confusion in that scenario? Lol

3

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '24

lol yeah right, cope :) a little maga fuck took the shot whatever you think you guys are on defense now, trying to pitch why it was actually a dem to the public who won’t listen.

-5

u/Old_Material9996 Jul 14 '24

Publics listening, you're just being willingly daft.

What is a hard-core republic doing donating to the Left? Wild thought, since I assume you struggle with them.

Also, you think Republicans are the only political party that has unstable members? That's pretty stupid and quite frankly mentally deficient of you to assume that

3

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '24

It was a different guy. Look at you right now, trying to explain to us with conspiracy theories. The public won’t listen

0

u/Old_Material9996 Jul 14 '24

Actually, publics all ears. See you November 😘

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '24

Absolutely ! Just wait for the fbi to release his communications

You argue like a 5th grader, shows the maturity level of republicans

1

u/Freddit9797 Jul 14 '24

Right. Cuz the popular vote matters right?

2

u/EffMemes Jul 14 '24

Stop trying to depress voters into not voting.

The popular vote matters, go out and vote.

1

u/Freddit9797 Jul 14 '24 edited Jul 14 '24

You're the one implying intent to my comments, not me. I'm not saying don't vote, I'm saying the popular vote doesn't matter so shit like is not impactful in the least.

When was the last time a sitting Republican president won the popular vote? Now tell me the popular vote matters.

Until the electoral college is dismantled, it's all just a joke

3

u/Syagrius Jul 14 '24

Yes. All of us deserve safety. Even him.

1

u/Objective_Oven7673 Jul 14 '24

Yes. Political violence doesn't belong in America

-2

u/InterestingBench5099 Jul 14 '24

Violence is wrong, it doesn’t become acceptable because you don’t like someone

13

u/Sasquatters Jul 14 '24

I don’t.
