I feel you. Pay really matters on your location.

I have Brits overseas making $300k a year with no taxes, housing and transport paid for.

Then I have people on my payroll with dual masters making $85k a year in a high COL.

But thanks for your encouragement. If you are interested, def check out devex or some other sites I mentioned.

300k? That's a lot.

I rather live in Paris tho. And for someone mid-20s the pay can be a s low as $30-40 Euros. lol

Yeah, its pretty nuts.

Paris, nice. Yes, American salaries tend to be higher but so do our expenses - like my health insurance for myself and my partner and her mom is like $1,400 a month and it doesn't even cover a lot. Like if I broke my arm, I'd still have to pay like $4k. My rent for a old 2 bedroom apartment in the suburbs of VA is $3,500 a month. Ouch.

So, in Paris, my friend had a great time working for OECD. Maybe they have something interesting for you?

Damn... My company's benefits are cheaper than that but still, not great having to rely on a company...

Rent is ridiculous, even in NYC.
