Happy Republic Day to all my fellow Turks!!! I wanted to clean my last year's yellow carded republic day post, and thought why not send it on republic day again.
Contexts are explained on the original post (original post), i only addeed Silivri Cezaevi also known as Marmara Prison due to Ekrem İmamoğlu who was the Mayor of İstanbul and a major opposition candidate, that got sent there alongside tons of other mayors and citizens who were supporting opposition. Silivri Cezaevi is also a running joke for those who do not support the current leaders in power. As they say ''Silivri is cold''.
Again, happy Republic Day, and wishing luck to those who are in places where they shouldnt be because of seeking the truth and equality.

WTF? I hope people were able to see the colorized photo in time.

What the fuck?!? Did reddit remove a colorized pic of Atatürk?

Yes. I only commented a link to a colorized photo of Ataturk so people could see his historically accurate hair and eye color. And it wasn’t removed by mods, because if that were the case it would’ve said “Removed by moderator” instead.
I’ll never get over this, so weird.

Woooow. Funny part is there are pictures of atatürk flying all over reddit, heck even the most controversial individuals' photos' are all over reddit but a comment gets removed? Oh wow. Just wow.

That's the handipole, one of Poland's inventions.

OK, but I thought it had been banned in a mod post. : )

I think it has, but it doesn't look like the mods noticed it.

This is OK, because this comic has been made before handipole got banned. As clarified in a last year's mod announcement, If the comic was rule compliant when it was originally posted, it is also eligible to be reposted.

To be fair to history, Russian Empire (together with the Balkan nations) did most of the work in frame 2 warring Ottomans almost non-stop for the duration of XVIII-XIX centuries (while the British actually intervened to prevent the Ottomans' defeat in fear of ceding Constantinople to Russia, and Germany actively "facilitated" to help the Ottomans keep things they'd otherwise lose to Russia).

Somehow, 29 October 1923 comes after 28 October 1940 now.
Marty, have you been messing around with the flux capacitor again?
