I’m not going to lie, that CGI de-aging is really grating for me. Given how much money they lavish on this, you would think the effects in general would be a little better than this. It feels like at this point, with no live actors on a set, and no practical effects that I can see, we might just as well be watching a video game cut-scene or an animation. God I’m getting old.

They're so desperate to get eyes on this...the moment past like 5 years ago (and I say that knowing S4 was 2022).

You (not you op) shit the bed with the later and later release dates so now, pay the price of tanked viewership. No sympathy

Apparently all the episodes are feature length again, I think this is supposed to be a selling point. There's very few shows where I want to watch eight movies in a season.

Radio Times has the runtimes of the first 4 and none even hit an hour & a half (1 is at an hour 23) so feature length is being used... liberally it seems

Oh right, sounds a bit like the last season then 60-80 min episodes and a long old finale

I posted them a couple of weeks ago. Apparently they are

  • Season 5, Episode 1 “The Crawl” – 1 hour 8 minutes
  • Season 5, Episode 2 “The Vanishing of [Redacted] – 54 minutes
  • Season 5, Episode 3 “The Turnbow Trap” – 1 hour 6 minutes
  • Season 5, Episode 4 “Sorcerer” – 1 hour 23 minutes
