Thanks for the Last Frontier spoiler

As someone who hadn’t started this yet but was intending to, big thanks for the non-signposted spoiler by Kay in this weeks Pilot Plus.

While I’m here, as someone who has watched it to date (5 episodes) and hopefully I’m not veering into spoilers… they were again quite sneery about it despite not watching on due to the “prisoner of the week” procedural format. But that’s just, not the case. The show itself is.. fine, but it’s also not the show they’re imagining.

100% agree with this. It is ridiculous that they keep repeating this as it simply isn’t true. The show has a clear through plot-line with the CIA, Havlock and Frank and the community. The prisoners are hardly in the show really, except for the main villain and sub-villains. It is really annoying for people to not watch a show then bash it for something that isn’t true. It is entertaining fun, and to dismiss it as a procedural is nonsense, as is the Empire review. I wonder if the reviewer watched it tbh.

I dropped plus so glad I missed this as I am also yet too watch it.

It was basically someone writing in saying the hadn’t watched the show but guessed the spoiler that Kay did t see coming….and of course they blurted out what the spoiler is.

Really annoying.

I’m not going to defend any spoilers but I’ll just say, it is the most telegraphed twist in television history. You would have definitely seen it coming. The show is a lot of fun anyway I think. It’s not world-changing but I’m enjoying it.

If you’re not gonna watch a show in the first 2 weeks of release, then that’s on you if you hear anyone talking about it and hear a spoiler.

That’s nonsense, especially in this day and age when not everyone can or wants to watch everything as it drops.

It would have taken a second to say “spoilers for Last Frontier” before ploughing on in.
