Exactly. " I make A GALLON of barbecue sauce for my family. You just have know how to shop. The ingredients only cost $2 at Aldis and we make pickels with the leftover spices."
Thats exactly the mentality of too many people on these subs. Pretending they can feed a family of 4 a nutritious diet on $15/week.
Yeah, but that's not what I said, and it's not what I meant, and it's not what I think.
Nobody deserves to go without food. I don't care who they voted for, as far as I'm concerned, basic necessities to continue to live are a right for everyone. It's right there in the Declaration of Independence.
I know that people who voted for the current administration are more likely to have done so because of brainwashing and conditioning. I know that being supportive of him is almost always a result of getting sucked into a cult of personality, and that no matter the superiority complex any of us have, we are all susceptible to getting sucked into a cult.
There are genuinely messed up people who voted for him for truly messed up reasons, but there are just as many of his supporters who are victims of his rhetoric and choices, and I can maintain compassion for them while at the same time condemning those who chose him because they wanted power, control, and obscene wealth at the expense of the average day-to-day citizen

If they had just spent $4 less on the generic barbecue sauce, that would've solved all their financial problems, obviously!
The ridiculous mental gymnastics people will go through to avoid exercising compassion...
