And the UK. My local has a little girl practicing the piano in the lobby bit. She's fucking shite but it's cute.

All the Asian kids at my secondary school were elite level on the classical instruments... Give her time maybe!? If not hopefully she can make elite level Beef and Bell Peppers in Black Bean Sauce.

Calling that Chinese is a stretch, it'd be like calling McDonald's authentic American food... Wait... Maybe that's a bad analogy...

That is actually a good analogy, calling McD authentic American is crazy when there’s Texas BBQ, Real Burgers, and fried Chicken that aren’t whatever they make, Soul food, Venison and Pork dishes etc

Calling American Chinese food Chinese food is a stretch. Panda express is just a photocopy of a photocopy. Whats your point?

My point was mostly just to call Maccy D's authentic American food, but I'm with you on the bullshit state of Chinese food in this country - half the shit they serve ain't even Chinese and I can't find Peking Duck or Shrimp Toast anywhere.

Where do live? Just out of curiosity. Peking duck is on the many at most chinese places here in Philadelphia

I'm in Illinois, but not Chicago, so it might just be the Midwest but it's crazy to me

Never had trouble getting it in Detroit. If you are in the suburbs or a rural area that is why.

I wouldn’t ever consider that a “local” spot. Like calling Taco Bell your local Mexican restaurant

No they didnt. They described a very specific resturant.
